Neighborhood Piru (NHP) is a predominantly black street gang but is also known to have other races within it such as Hispanics and Caucasians. Neighborhood Piru is based in South Los Santos on the border of the city of Davis and the city of Rancho. Neighborhood Piru stretches back to the early 1970s when a group of teens band together to fight off the Crips that came into their neighborhoods, the group didn't turn into Neighborhood Piru until 1982 when James "Big Mump" Hightower, Herschel "Big Herc" Woods and Tyrone "T-Bone" Massy, the three founders of the gang are doing time behind bars for a robbery that went south.
From carjacking, home invasion to murder, the violent street gang doesn’t stray away from the most illicit money-making opportunities. Racial tensions in the 90s saw a violent surge in the Neighborhood Piru but it didn't stop them from recruiting all races into their gang. They were outnumbered by their enemy counterparts but being outnumbered did little for rivals hoping to beat and kill the Neighborhood Piru Gang into submission. They marked a clear territory in Davis on Roy Lowenstein Blvd South Los Santos, also seen on the lower part of Roy Lowenstein Boulevard.
In 2018, NHP's membership has its up and down due to police raids, back-to-back homicides, and bloody wars in the past with different rivals. In the early parts of 2019, the gang began its all-out war against a few different Crip gangs within The City Of Davis after a deadly war with a few different Davis Crip hoods, the gang slower is rebuilding to what it once was in the early 2000s.

The gang identifies with the New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Philadelphia Phillies baseball team logo. Both teams such as Pittsburgh Pirates, Philadelphia Phillies represents all Piru gangs, you will see all sets of Piru's wearing these hats. The New York Yankees is another logo for the Neighborhood Piru gang, the Neighborhood Piru and their enemies, Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips also share the same hat, so they don't cross out the "NY". The "NY" logo stands for Neighborhood for both gangs.

OOC INFORMATION

Neighborhood Piru is here to create a realistic portrayal of the Neighborhood Piru (Inglewood) community. Upon joining there are a few things you must complete prior to role-playing with our faction. We would like for our members to do their research and have basic knowledge of LA gang politics as well as knowledge of the Neighborhood Piru Street Gang. If you're not serious about role-playing with us and don't have any quality role-play to contribute to the faction then don't even bother trying to join because you will be removed from the faction by our leadership. We encourage members to focus on character development. We are accepting members who are willing to take constructive criticism and are willing to learn.

The faction itself consists of a majority of American-time zoned members (GMT -4 to GMT -8), however, there are quite a few members in the European timezone (GMT 0), so people should keep in mind that you will probably catch people in-game no matter what time zone you are in. Every day is different, so our "peak" times cannot be specified. You will most likely catch more members online during the night time and sometimes during the afternoon due to school and work (between 2:00 PM and 12:00 PM).

Contact either myself or @Letter From The Trenches @City Of Champions for our discord or questions on joining the faction.
