I have to say, I saw a lot of OOC-based rejections in the Application section of your forums. For a new faction to already reject people based on Metagamed information ( and you can argue it's not all you want, but it's literally Metagaming to reject an IC applicant for their OOC past ) a few months into formation is pretty disappointing.

An application for a faction consist of both IC and OOC elements and thus can be judged on both terms. It's not only your character that is joining the faction but also you, as a person, who will interact with faction members on an OOC level aswell. As such it's only logical for an application to be looked at in both ways. Because it is fair towards the faction giving you an opportunity to roleplay with them without ruining a set standards that is deemed healthy for the faction to grow and provide a positive echo on the server as a whole. Surely you cannot say that the formation of the faction is disappointing with all the positive feedback and encouragements it's been getting, we have to stay positive always, as I say 😄Nonetheless you're completley entitled to your opinion so thanks for sharing it!

Hello! I've been trying to find your application and find out what happened, but can't find it. What was the name you applied under? I'm willing to discuss the issues with you, but for me to do so... I need to know what happened.

What Rasta said was also true! Thank you for clearing that up.

Before you make claims, I would suggest reaching out to our Command, as I just responded to you're forum PM on SAPR side. But, we can't let people in that have OOC problems, because they obviously won't make a fit in the faction that has a cap of 60. It's also not MG, when we ask you OOC things on our application. All factions have a right to deny anyone, for OOC reasons - that's an LFM rule that you should bring up with them, if you feel its a concern.

As someone who roleplayed as a park ranger I had nothing but a positive experience. For me personally, it gave me a good break from the fast paced law enforcement roleplay in the city which is what I needed. I'm optimistic that this faction will continue to grow and develop and Im looking forward to see what you guys will have to offer the community in the near future!!

First interaction with the faction went great, called nine one one because I literally saw like a wild hog or something in the western side of Paleto Bay town roaming the streets. A unit from the Park Rangers responded, we have a brief interaction and they went on their way to try and see if they can spot the hog. I was at that time waiting for a taxi so the immersion was really great when all of this unfolded. All in all, great activity and roleplay!

Hey Pills.

Creating roleplay is always fun to do, especially when you have a vision of something you'd like to achieve. The only issue I think with these specific scenarios is that it's often too boring/slow for anyone to participate in. Passive RP is OK, having it as your main source of entertainment - for many - isn't. However, so long as you have a select few that enjoy passive RP, that find each other's roleplay sufficient and enjoyable, that's when you really have something going on.

My personal suggestion to circumvent boredom is to have events held up there, giving the park rangers the capacity to make friends, and regularly roleplay with others.  It'd be slightly concerning as to who would attend these events, but even then, it should be fun. Maybe have some type of form where people can be shown around the wild life and escorted by a park ranger.

As a final note, I've met a couple of park rangers, one of them has to do with the Tongvans up near Chilliad, and I loved roleplaying with him, along with the natives up there. Maybe the park rangers could interact with them more often (out of a desire to roleplay). I really like the faction and the life it brings to the area. Hopefully there'd be more ideas that'd make the rangers' time more enjoyable.

Please change it from the Department of Fish and Wildlife to the Department of Parks and Recreation. LEOs employed under the Department of Fish and Wildlife are called "Wildlife officers", and there are some key differences between them and Park Rangers (with the department of parks and recreation).

Also, you guys should match the other factions and use realistic ranking structure. Cadet > Ranger > Supervisor > Superintendent (I-V) > Division Chief > Deputy Director > Chief Deputy Director / Directors of Park Operations > Director
