GTA 5 for online and RP (roleplay)?

Have been watching some streamers play GTA 5 online and RolePlay and looks fun. I saw this game is pretty cheap and looked up how you can get on RP servers and what not.

I have never played a GTA game besides a few times messing around with friends on their consoles. I have never played online. I am not familiar with what to do once you spawn in online besides talk to people.

I have a good PC so I will have no problem running the game.

Is it worth grabbing to play online, specifically RP?192.168.8.1 192.168.100.1 192.168.0.1

You probably one of the people who interpret the word "world" on this forum wrong. This is an actual forum for a rp server on RAGE called "World" and not a forum for overall GTA related stuff.

You may have been also watching the voice-based RP servers as well! GTA world is strictly only text-based. I believe it's fun either way! This server is a bit hardcore with RP, so it might be a bit tough if you've never RP'd before in any type of game. But there are other servers that RAGE/FIVEM offer too that are voice-based and text-based RP that may be a little easier to follow and get the ropes on. 

 

There are guides though in case you want to just dump right in with the deep end here!
