The Epps Family’s deep ties to the streets of Los Santos, San Andreas date back to as early as 1918, during The Great Migration. The first few generations of The Epps Family settled into the East Side of South Los Santos, more specifically around the Brouge/Carson Avenue area. The Epps Family eventually grew in size and relocated to the West Side of South Los Santos around the Chamberlain Hills/Forum Drive area. This would be where the family would decide to settle down and where the younger members of the family began to get involved with the local Hoover Groovers / Forum Boys, earlier versions of what would eventually become Hoover Crips and then The Hoover Criminals Gangs / Gangster Crips.

Kaylani Gardner & Malcom Epps
Malcom Epps was born on March 15th, 1980 on the south-side of Los Santos, at the Central Los Santos Medical Center. Malcom was a troubled kid who was in and out of juvenile detention throughout his entire childhood. He was put onto the 83 Hoover Criminals Gang at 13 years old and quickly earned a name for himself around the neighborhood as a result of his extra’d out persona. At 19 years old Malcom knocked up his 18 year old girlfriend Kaylani Gardner, who went on to give birth to twins (Nalani Epps & Delaney Epps). Malcom and Kaylani grew apart and a few years later Malcom was fathering his third child (Aiden Epps) with an 18 year old young lady named Alyssa Dawson from Davis. Aiden was separated from the rest of the family and was taken under parental custody of Alyssa. Shortly after the birth of Aiden Epps Malcom was gunned down by a rival gang member after a dispute erupted at a house party in the Rancho Housing Projects.

Nalani Epps is one of the oldest children within her primary family. She grew up on the west-side of South Central in the Chamberlain Hills area, spending most of her youth days finding herself in the Figueroa Gardens apartment complex, also known as the 1804. Nalani planned on making a name for herself through softball, but those plans quickly faded away as she began to get influenced by the crowd around her. During the young female's pre-teen stage, she'd had already spiraled down into a hole she couldn't get out of and it was only going to get worse from there on out. Nalani had fell victim to the rinse and repeat process known as "gangbanging".

Delaney Epps was born and raised on the west-side of South Los Santos. The shooting death of his father when he was young instilled deep emotional trauma within Delaney, he struggled with trying to live up to his father’s name which often landed him in trouble with the law. Delaney was put onto the 83 Hoover Criminals Gang at the age of 13 under the moniker “Lil Tr3y Thang#2”. A few years later a couple of days after his 15th birthday Delaney was arrested for his involvement in the murder of 23 year old Jermonte Belmont, an active Rollin 90s Neighborhood Crip member. After three years bouncing from institution to institution fighting his case Delaney was acquitted on all charges and set free.

Aidan Epps

The youngest of the family, born in the Chamberlain Hills area, but raised on the east-side of South Los Santos on Covenant Avenue. This played a pretty big role in Aidan's life due to his biological mother, Alyssa Dawson, not wanting him to grow up around the gang violence taking place within Chamberlain Hills, during the late 2000's the area had grown notorious due to it's spiking rate of homicides occurring throughout the area. Ms. Dawson attempted her best to keep Aidan away from the gang banging lifestyle, but like any other teenager, they fall victim to peer pressure. While living on Covenant Avenue, Aidan could be seen functioning with the 107 Hoover Criminals on a daily basis, he'd occasionally take trips back to Chamberlain Hills to interact with his family from 74 and 83 Hoover Criminals, also known as the 3-4 Hoover Criminals.

After the recent release of Delaney Epps, Aidan has chose to return to the Figueroa Gardens in hope to grow a stronger relationship with his older siblings.
