Los Santos, SA - On the 11th of April, 2021, Aurum Energy hosted a press conference in the LS Amphitheater. Company's CEO Bella Schofield was speaking on the behalf of the company, discussing subjects of vital importance to the community. Furthermore, Aurum Energy's Head of Plant Dr. Emily Whitman spoke on specialized matters, too.

"It is always a pleasure to see the increased interest in the energy industry and more particularly in the topics of clean energy, sustainability and innovation. I would like to emphasise that we are in a prime position to shape the energy industry of San Andreas if we are able to introduce mature, robust technology that is able to meet current demands. We have historically invested considerable resources in ensuring that all of our operations are conducted in accordance with the latest standards for safety, reliability and efficiency, and we continue to do so every day. But at Aurum we also like to go above and beyond what is expected of us. We wish to be pioneers and explorers, to work towards processes and systems that have a potential to be positively disruptive, that provide an opportunity and a base to eventually reach carbon neutrality. Either by optimising current processes, or by introducing completely new methods. Naturally, we in the energy industry are not the only ones with ambitions for climate neutral operations and net-zero carbon dioxide emissions. Our colleagues in the aerospace industry have made bold statements of achieving carbon neutrality by as soon as 2035, for example. We must do our part. This is why Aurum Energy has always placed a significant importance on new technologies and research and development efforts, ensuring we are well equipped to be tackling the challenges that face us.

On April 2nd, 2021, Aurum Energy Inc. acquired a new field office facility on Mission Row in Los Santos. We have invested considerable sums to ensure the facility is equipped up to the standard which we require and is able to adequately support the needs of our growing research and development department. It’s main focus, as well as providing a comfortable and productive work environment, is to house simulation hardware, as well as a subsonic wind tunnel and other equipment which will be used to help evaluate, validate and verify our efforts to develop our newest technologies. Some of these include advanced blade designs that feature changeable aerofoil geometry for wind turbines that provide an increased factor of efficiency and easier, cheaper maintenance. It is a widely known fact that turbine capacity has been increasing by on average by twelve percent every year since 2014. Within the year, we hope to be in a position to provide significantly higher figures. Additionally, other aerodynamics research is being carried out regarding projects such as bladeless turbines and other alternative designs.

Achieving carbon neutrality is a long-term, challenging process that is almost impossible for organisations to achieve individually. It is a multi-stakeholder development that requires active and engaged participation of both the private industry and government. The State of San Andreas has been instrumental in promoting sustainability and clean energy initiatives that benefit the entire community.

It is my pleasure to announce that on the 28th of March, 2021, Aurum Energy Incorporated was awarded a five-million dollar contract by the State of San Andreas for the purposes of bringing up to standard the Wind Turbine Park in the Los Santos County area and ensuring it operates at maximum capacity. We have already engaged fully with this project and we are confident we will be able to meet all goals and objectives. In relation to this, the company will be looking to expand its ground-work staff in the near future to meet the increased demand. I invite any organisation with a passion for such initiatives to get in contact. I would like to take a moment to personally thank the Secretary of Labor, Mr Herbert Brennan and their team for the trust placed in this company and the shared vision and enthusiasm for the benefit of our city. I would also like to thank the Senate and every other person who has been crucial for this initiative from its proposal to its implementation. This contract is an important, strong foundation for the development of further clean energy initiatives and the eventual implementation of the technology I touched upon earlier. With strong commitment and united leadership, the State of San Andreas is in a prime position to be the leader in green energy initiatives in this country. To achieve cheap, affordable, green energy for everyone. We are proud to be part of that", said Ms. Schofield to the audience and the press.

It is interesting to point out that several politicians were present on the aforementioned event, such as Secretary of State Elizabeth Chang, Noah Wade and Senators Kevin Seong and Valeria Reyes, observing Aurum Energy's press conference from the front row. Furthermore, Secretary of Labor Herbert Brennan, who was seated on stage.
