How to survive a road rage incident on GTA:W

Step 1: Remain calm.

If the person immediately gets out of their car unscathed and gives an aggressive demeanor, do not panic. They normally require a reason to cause harm to you.

1a: Maintain direct eye contact with the individual and stay calm.

2b: Do not escalate! Let them talk, and do not use harsh words. They will most likely lash out at you and insult you - do not fall for this, as a response from you is a direct invitation to a fistfight, or worse, it could give them a reason to make use of the firearm they most definitely carry.

3c: If they have a visible firearm, be ready for the next step.

Step 2: Do not fight!

As much as it is tempting to fight them, doing this would be completely nonsensical even if they initiated the aggressive behavior, as they have a clear advantage over you. Flight of flight response is irrelevant in that situation.

1a: Use common sense. If you happen to carry your personal belongings, give them up immediately if they demand it.

2b: Crashing a car is expensive and will require a lot of maintenance and time, therefore they will most certainly demand monetary compensation. If that is the case, comply and hand out cash money.

3c: Forget about your insurance claim documents. Unfortunately, these official documents will be completely irrelevant for them, as they are not looking for a legitimate insurance dispute which would logically reduce cost, refer to 2b for the correct step to take, as arguing about insurance claims might escalate the situation.

Step 3: Walk or drive away

Now that you are out of harm's way, you should do your best to put as much distance as you can between yourself and your aggressor. Keep in mind to follow the speed limit and to stop at intersections, as disregarding traffic laws might drag you back to Step 1 should another collision occur.

Step 4: Come home unharmed to your expensive loving pet.

Your pet loves you, and if you have made it this far, it means that you have taken the right decisions! Congratulations, you may live another day.

Step 5: Cope.

Until someone decides that lagging is not an excuse because if lag doesn't happen to them, it clearly doesn't happen to anyone, so if you don't want a salty report written up on you for skipping RP, I'd recommend referring to Step 1 as soon as they go ''/b nah RP it bro, u didnt lag ragemp doesnt have lag"

Usually, that happens when they want to pick an IC fight, in which case I'd kindly remind you to refer to Step 1.
