More likely the outcome of the court was adverse to the law. Here's the exact line from the penal code about traffic lights:

It’s not required to wait until it turns green. It’s a stop and go.  Hopefully he appeals because that judge was wrong IC’ly lol.

I don't. The number of lights don't match the amount of traffic. I stop, look and go.

I follow the lights all the time. Kinda annoying when some police accuse you of failing to yield when they have a red light and almost t-bone you when you drive through a green light.

I ignore them completely around quieter areas. They don't get enforced enough (If at all) and every second cop I see they blow through intersections themselves so idk
