PF gun

Is it allowed per the OOC rules a friend of mine IC to give me a PF gun as a gift IC? I've read rule 13 but we still aren't sure if it's allowed so I figured to ask just in case. Thank you in advance.

Thank you for the link, but my character doesn't have a PF license. Basically like this, one of my character's friends to give his PF gun to her as a gift. I'm not asking if it's illegal IC, I'm asking if it's allowed OOC per the server rules

It's a huge gray area, without registering a firearm transfer there's no clear answer currently. As far as I've spoken to admins and support, there's different answers depending who you ask and what type of context you give and there's no precedent set with people violating the rules.

 

The general consensus is that as long as it doesn't turn into abuse by getting guns as gifts constantly, it should be okay. But were I in your place, I'd double check with an admin. (( if they ever come across this post that is ))

This. Always better to get an admins point of view if you are unsure about a rule, but don't pester them about it obvs.
