Located on Cortes & Magellan in Vespucci, the restaurant sits just one block away from the beach. Nut Buster Kebab serves authentic Syrian and American fast food favorites, from Kebabs and Shawarmas, to gourmet burgers and special hand crafted dishes. Nut Buster Kebab also serves a wide variety of middle eastern drinks and snacks, such as the famous Al Shark Syrian Beer one of only two places in the United States that sells this premium beer. All our food his halal and we cater to both locals and tourists alike. About the role: We are seeking outgoing and friendly staff to assist in the front of house. You will primarily be working the cash register greeting customers as they enter, taking their orders and liaising with the kitchen staff to ensure accurate orders are made. Our store sometimes gets extremely busy so you must be able to work well under pressure while maintaining great customer service skills. You will have good cash handling skills and will upsell drinks to customers and promote our exclusive drinks, Mecca Cola, Al Shark etc. Although we do not offer table service, there might be times where you are required over to customers tables if they are disabled etc. Some light cleaning duties may apply.IMPORTANT: Nut Buster kebab usually opens between the hours of 03:00 - 05:00 AM. The ideal candidate MUST be available at those times. Whilst we do occasionally open at other times, this is the normal times of operation. Job duties:• Taking customers orders• Liaising orders to kitchen staff• Accurate handling of cash • Serving customers drinks • Light cleaning duties, such as wiping counters, tables • Being flexible and to assist the owner with any other duties and requests that may arise on an ad-hoc basis.About you: • Must be at least 18 years old • Good social skills, you must be a people person • Must posses High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent)• Right to work in the United States • Self motivated • Share the passion and the Habeeb vision • Previous experience in a similar role is ideal but not mandatory as full training provided• Must be available to work at the hours of operation.
