What I said doesn't argue against this. What I'm saying is, it's likely a combination of things contributing to the hard crash not the script in and of it's own.

I completely miss the point of why the cutscene was added in the first place.

What does it add? Does it help anyone? Does it bring anything new other than the fact that it "looks cool"?

I wouldn't mind seeing it get removed again. It's a cosmetic thing and was added as a more welcoming introduction than just being dropped into the world but the issues it causes aren't really worth the pay off.

I think that RAGEMP doesn't allocate enough memory to the game to be able to carry out the correct operation of it, the scripts, the DLCPACKs of the game itself, the mods of the server, all that influences, and for about two or three weeks I have been experiencing crashes that previously didn't have, due to lack of memory, GTAV has several mods to fix this problem but unfortunately RAGE doesn't allow them to be loaded, the only hope is that RAGE 1.1 fixes this memory problem.

 

And yes, RAGEMP/GTAV don't care if your PC got 16, 32 or 128gb of ram.

Why hasn't this been removed yet in a hotfix?

 

Seems rather long to remove a gamebreaking bug, esspecially since new players probably don't bother anymore because their first impression is a broken script! 🙂

Saw my character fine, thought it was a cool feature until I spawned outside the airport which for some reason had my FPS at 18 for a minute before it crashed my GTA, discord and whatever else was open. Just remove it, the pay off isn't worth it from the issues it holds.

I just stumbled on this thread after seeing someone randomly speaking about it on Discord.

 

Instead of insulting me, next time just drop me a DM, it'll be easier.

As for @Marksman, the code was credited so it's not hidden and it must be the first time we use something from RageMP resources since I found it quite cool.

 

It has never crashed us on the test server, but I'll still remove it since it seems some computers handle it differently.
