Early Life

Midas Vigoa was born in 1996 on a farm not far from El Alamo, Mexico. Along with his mother and father Daniel Vigoa, Midas grew up with his five cousins, he had no siblings. His childhood was like that of any child in the rural area of Sinaloa, far from the cities and the dirt. At the age of fifteen, Midas can still remember exactly, his father took him to Costa Azul, a small town located directly on the South Pacific. Daniel Vigoa, the lanky old man known for his calm and courteous manner, loved the sea, uncharacteristic of someone who lived so deep inside the country. He taught Midas everything about fishing on the high seas and finally how to steer the old boat the "Espada". Midas liked the idea of one day sailing the South Pacific with his own children and teaching them all about fishing, just as his father had done with him. The years went by and after a fishing trip or two, Midas lost the patience needed for fishing and stopped accompanying his father on the trips. Then one day, about an hour's drive from El Alamo, Daniel Vigoa got caught between two gangs that were fighting under a fierce hail of bullets. Daniel was hit twice by the Cartel's bullets and succumbed to his severe injuries while still in the car. The following weeks were to be very difficult for Midas and his family. They lost the farm on which the family had lived for generations and were forced to move to the city. Midas and his mother found two low-paying jobs in the region. They lived for three months in complete poverty and with the uncertainty of the future, until a stranger contacted Midas. This man was from Costa Azul, the town where Midas had spent so much time with his father on the boat as a teenager. The man explained to Midas about the ownership of the and it turned out that Daniel Vigoa had paid off the old steamer over the years. Completely shocked and unsettled Midas told his mother about this discovery, Midas' mother did not hesitate for long and decided to send her son to Los Santos and ordered him to take the boat with him. She told him to find a decent job and sell the boat when he had the chance.

Midas, now twenty-four, a nice young man with a handsome figure and the brain of a donkey, as his mother used to joke, set out for Los Santos. He drove for five days, orienting himself along the coast before finally reaching Banning, a waterfront neighborhood below Rancho. It wasn't long before Midas, who had been asking around to all the workers at the port, met a man who offered him a job as a trucker and would also pay for his driver's license....
