You're going to get dirty, you're going to be muddy, and you're going to get cold in the winter: invest in cheap hoodies, beanies and caps. You need clothes you're not going to miss when they rip on the one hand, and you're going to need things of better quality that serve a purpose: raincoats, warm clothes, nice footwear... Unless your character is particularly well-off or vain (or you're going for the Sandy Shores Texan look), a lot of the time you're going to be wearing basic/generic clothes from your local shop because they'd realistically wear them out. A good touch might be to add some promotional t-shirts that are disposable (an LTD shirt, a Cluckin' Bell shirt... things they probably got for free and don't really care about). For your daily life depending on who your character is, he's more likely to dress like the guy on the left than the guy on the right unless it's a special occasion: Where can I find those shirts? Like clicking bell, gas station etc? Link to comment

I think the Cluckin' Bell, Burger Shot etc. ones are sadly not available until 1.1 at least. I have seen at least a FEMALE character with an LTD shirt in GTAW working a grocery store, but not 100% sure on whether males have it available too. Link to comment

Uh, just go to the clothing store and try to search it, but I am also not 100% sure if it is available.. so you better check it out 😄 Link to comment

Petey
Just wear normal clothes that you'd wear on a daily basis. Doesn't mean you should go swimming in Vespucci with a goddamn Tuxedo. With that being said, my character likes to wear stuff that are comfortable, not stuff that's extremely uncomfortable but looks good. I'd go with something simple as I said above, wearing 3x jackets with 2x t-shirts inside is not comfortable and most people wouldn't bother wearing something like that. My character has long hair and realistically it WILL jiggle all over the place, blocking your vision. I can't understand people with long hair freely walking without any kind of item to stop it from jiggling away in front of you. If it's tied then it's alright. So my character wears a beanie because I like to wear a beanie IRL too because it helps in keeping your hair from jiggling away, hanging down in front of your eyes. It's extremely uncomfortable because it happens so often. When I'm ICly inside a property and such, I don't wear beanies or hats. So yeah, I suggest clothes that look comfortable and normal. I also roleplay hair growth. Before, I had short hair with shaved sides. Now after a long time, I changed my hairstyle to this. Edited March 16, 2021 by Pete Williamson 2 Link to comment
