Faction / Business Budget Requests [OPEN]

Legal Faction Management offers funding to businesses and legal factions that provide the server with unique roleplay opportunities to the community, but cannot maintain themselves financially without additional support.

 

In order to request funds, please use the format below. Faction leadership / Business owners are the only ones who should send in requests. Please send all requests to @Moe with the title: LFM Budget Request - [NAME OF FACTION/BUSINESS] via forum PM.

 

 

LEGAL FACTION MANAGEMENT - BUDGET REQUEST

• With this money what will you be doing to enhance roleplay?

• Please include a budget proposal to detail what you predict the funds to be used for

 

 

Note: Although you will be receiving funds from LFM, the funds are to be roleplayed as being received from the Los Santos state government (by default). If it would not make sense for your faction to receive money from the government, you may roleplay having received the money in a manner that makes the most sense for your faction. This can be discussed if the request is approved. Abuse of this will result in a faction strike and the funds being removed.

 

Note 2: These funds will only be distributed to factions / businesses who are large enough and provide a beneficial service to the server as a whole that may not grant them enough money to survive otherwise.

 

Note 3: Weekly requests will only be granted to factions / businesses who are active enough to where a weekly request would be warranted. If FM feels your faction isn't active enough for a weekly request, we will offer you a monthly request instead.

 

Note 4: Monthly requests are capped at $200,000 and weekly requests are capped at $50,000. Special circumstances may be considered if needed for a higher cap, however, this is a case by case basis.

 

Note 5: You do not have to be a faction to request funds. We will provide funding to businesses as well.

 

Note 6: LFM budget requests only apply to legal factions and businesses.

Note 7: Those that are requesting funds from Legal Faction Management must have already attempted to get there own funding and are at a last straw for there business in regards of funding. Meaning, we will no longer be accepting businesses/factions that have not attempted to fund themselves first, and or, are just starting with no funding. You must give an effort before applying.

Note 8: Businesses/factions should show that they have attempted to gain funds, and why they truly need them through Legal Faction Management. 

Note 9: If you are to be accepted, Legal Faction Management will provide a list of dates that are fit for payment. Legal Faction Management will also decide the long-term payment scale on a application, meaning, not all businesses will have the same amount of payments issued. 

Note 10: Once the allotted time is completed for payments, a business/faction may request a re-review if Budgets are still open. Legal Faction Management will ask you to prepare documents showing growth, spending, payments and a variety of other related documents proving on why you might need funding still.

 

Note 11: Emergency Funding may be issued to a business/faction even when applications are closed for budget requests. Emergency Funding is a last attempt for a business/faction to stay out of debt or as an assistance to place a business/faction out of debt. Emergency Funding will only be issued on a case by case basis, there is no guarantee you will get Emergency Funding. Emergency Funding should be the ultimate last straw for a business when applying for funding. Business/Factions may apply that are either, in debt, about to hit debt (within five thousand dollars of total assets for the business/faction), and or if there is no way in any circumstances a payment can be made to keep the business living. As a note, we advise that Factions/Businesses Leadership may have to attempt to use there own funding, before being granted Emergency Funding. If you are acquiring emergency funding, please include it in the title of the application.

Note 12: Those that apply for a Budget Request for the basis of only paying employees/certain assets for events and or a business/faction will be declined. Case by case determinations will be used for emergency funding however. 

Note 13: Those that do not show a strive and an attempt to fund their own business through IC means, prior to applying for the Budget Requests will be denied. Legal Faction Management will no longer be supporting businesses that are only using Budget Requests to get an easy "profit" and to pay off employees/assets that could easily be worked out without funding through Legal Faction Management. 

Note 14: If abuse is found with gaining money from Budget Requests, Legal Faction Management may terminate payments immediately. Lying, trying to coverup, or abusing funding that is being issued via Legal Faction Management, will be issued a punishment and the possibility of a business/faction shutdown. This funding given by Legal Faction Management should be strictly used for only business needs, and not a personal gain. 

Note 15: A general date when applications will be open shall be posted, and a close date. Applications that are submitted not within the allotted time will be denied.

Note 16: All applications are subject to a full review by the Budgeting Team. There is no guarantee a Budget Request will be accepted, all decisions are final. 

 

Note 17: Characters owning the business or leading the faction requesting the budget who themselves have plenty of assets are encouraged to try funding the operations themselves first. This is also taken into consideration when reviewing budget requests.
