BIDDING FOR BLAINE AVIATION CLOSED

The bidding for the leadership of Blaine Aviation has concluded, and all involved parties are now in discussions to move to the next stage.

This marks a new chapter in the San Andreas aviation industry. Both the managing parties and the State will work together in the near future to ensure that Blaine Aviation lends itself to the betterment of our citizens. Soon to come to fruition is the Aviation Act, which will support this endeavour moving forward and will provide formal legislation to establish working conduct.

The State will be allocating funds for the cause, investing in various aircraft, improvements to the airport and associated gear. This critical investment will ensure the future of the aviation industry within San Andreas, funding the next generation of pilots and enabling possibilities that were previously untenable.

The revision of the association means that as the most prevalent issuer of pilots licenses, the new flight school will, with supportive funding, enable budding pilots to work for and achieve their own piloting experience and accreditations, which in turn opens up opportunities for upgraded local transit across the State.

A key proponent for this, Deputy Secretary of the Department of Labor Herbert Brennan went on to concur that the close of bidding symbolised a new beginning for the industry, stating:

Quote

“This really is an incredible new chapter for the aviation industry. There are many plans for the future, but the first step must be to teach the next generation of pilots and establish working standards. I have no doubt that we shall achieve this in due time”.

OFFICE OF PRESIDENT PRO TEMPORE FRANK ERNST

CONSOLIDATED PROGRAMMING ACT OF 2021 SIGNED INTO LAW

March 23, 2021

On March 22, 2021, San Andreas Governor Robert Brandt (I) signed the Consolidated Programming Act of 2021 into law. The omnibus legislation makes several changes to the law, including codifying aviation regulations, expanding penalties for financial and white collar crimes, and fully funds the Department of Labor budget request through May of 2021. The bill was crafted by President Pro Tempore Frank Ernst (R), Senator Ethan Schmidt (R), and Senator Diana Jones (D) worked across the aisle on aviation regulations.

President Ernst released made the following remarks after the bill's passage.

"I appreciate the work my Senate colleagues have done over the gap in the Senate recess. This is groundbreaking legislation that complements the Republican plan to crack down on dark money, corruption and white collar crimes. Furthermore, the appropriations division will go to support workers at the Port of Los Santos, fund renewable energy contracts, and assist small businesses. Finally, the aviation regulations outlined in the legislation will ensure that air travel is safe in our state."
