Black prison groups contain some the highest counts of members institutionalised, yet face the most division structurally in prison. Ever since the 1960s, they have dealt with the one issue that originally brought them together, that being racism. Being singled out by the public, law enforcement and fellow inmates, the black prison population naturally had to come together in order to resist attempts against themselves. The year 1966 saw the Black Guerilla Family formed by an individual named George Jackson, creating a "Black Nationalist prison & street gang". The aim of this was to band blacks in prison together against both the inmates and COs they would have to deal with. The group saw prominence throughout its initial years, however, as decades have gone by, various street gangs and prison groups arose, impacting the growth and political relations between the black-oriented groups within the prison system. With George Jackson's supposed assassination in 1971, riots broke out across the streets and prisons, even breaching into a Federal court room, and the organisation Black Guerilla Family lost its figurehead.

Throughout the 1980s, large African-American street gangs started to clash with each other, their issues following them into prison. The tensions rose so high that the sanctity that was once there was seemingly irreparable. With beef being taken from the streets into the prison system, the black prison structure completely divided into multiple groups with differing mentalities and goals, such as The Mafia Car, The Trey Car, The Deuce Car, The Bloods Car, all of which being a few examples of the many differing Black Cars that established within the prison system across the United States.

(Prison & Street Gang)

With the decline of the Black Guerilla Family in recent years, one member of the group by the name of Raymond "Ray" Solomon from the San Andreas State Prison, Los Santos County would be transferred to Twin Towers Correctional Facility pending a court case. Facing drug distribution charges after a successful operational sting, Ray would take his militaristic mindset developed within the system and taken from his BGF roots, and attempt to apply it within the Twin Towers Correctional Facility.

The Cabinet is a more organized approach to gathering the black population within TTCF, an attempt by Ray and a fellow inmate, Malcolm "Mac" Baldwin to take control and provide security to their race against the attempts of both white and hispanic inmates. With the goal of establishing a dominant black power within the facility, their hopes of extending it beyond the facility would influence their decisions. The Cabinet is formed of the most dangerous and feared individuals of TTCF's black population, and with the vast amount of black individuals within the facility, the group faces no shortage of manpower inside. The power and unity associated with The Cabinet and its movement makes it an appealing group for any black inmate to want to take part in.

Kimba 333 Nation

The Kimba 333 Nation (K3 for short) started as a black revolutionary movement against the corrupt CO’s, this is a group composed of current and former African American inmates out of Southern Los Santos prisons and jails system. With the power and control of black STG’S (Security Threat Groups) such as Black Guerilla Family and KUMI 415 dwindling the group sought to be the new player in the game. Originally forming in the Twin Towers Correctional Facility with Malcolm Baldwin and Raymond Solomon, the duo sought out to fight back against the rival Hispanics and Whites, thus forming a consolidated group of inmates called The Cabinet. The Cabinet is the leadership group over the Kimba 333 Nation. The Kimba 333 Nation functions as an independent STG with cliques and groups in Bolingbroke Penitentiary, Los Santos County Jail, Twin Towers County Jail, and San Andreas State Prison. The group recruits mainly from older members of gangs in South Central with emphasis on picking the most violent, callous, and cunning members rather than drafting for numbers. The gang averages around two hundred fifty members with around four hundred associates according to prison authorities. The low numbers is in due part that most gang members are not willing to renounce their set, quite often it’s lifers who’re willing to join. Kimba 333 Nation requires all members to renounce all vows of their previous gangs and take up the Kimba 333 status.

The gang has been known to commit crimes such as assault and battery, drug dealing, money laundering, and murder in lockups.  Kimba 333 was registered as a STG in 2020 with the hit of a high up member in the Mexican Mafia, this kicking off a continuous war in facilities across South LS. K3 operates in jail with Hoovers, Bloods, and Crips. Understanding that you can’t quell beef within these rival gangs, Kimba 333 Nation doesn’t get involved (Unless absolutely necessary) in inner black conflict, but during racial wars the STG ensures all Cars  work together to not get wiped out by opposing gangs and groups.

K3 also has a street presence made up of Kinfolk, Brothers, and Soldiers , these are Bonafide (Made) men who’ve earned their stripes in a prison/jail and act in good faith for Kimba 333 Nation. The prison/street gang rarely will take part in street beefs with the primary focus to keep a consolidated power in prison/jail for the blacks and to earn money for the criminal enterprise.  25% percent on average of street profits reach facilities keeping Bonafide members' commissary books filled and drug coffers full. The simple principle of “looking out for a brother” a registered K3 member turned state witness said as he described the street operations keeps the wheels turning. The former gang member also added “Motherfuckers look out for the niggas in the facilities because they have to...see, once you join K3 they ain’t no typa’ exit. You don’t pay your dues you get, got.” he described.  Kimba 333 members have no limit in crimes they get into once hitting the streets. Grand Theft Auto, Murder for Hire, Drug Distribution, and Arms Trafficking to name a few.

Kimba 333 Nation often is labeled as a black supremacy group despite allowing non African American members on occasion. Many of the experienced, higher up members use the ancient language of Swahili to allude guards and other inmates in conversations. Due to the gangs strong African roots several Muslim cliques have formed within Kimba 333 Nation. Kimba 333 members have several documented identifiers in terms of tattoos, some carry a 333 tattoo, a K3 tattoo, and a lion bearing the Kimba 333 banner to name a few.

The structure of Kimba 333 Nation is quite simple, the group operates in a paramilitary fashion with the leadership of the gang being members of The Cabinet, most often prisons/jails will only house 1 member of The Cabinet.  The next step in the golden lion chain (The term used to describe the hierarchy within Kimba 333) is Captains, Captains exist as the eyes and ears for their specific member of the Cabinet, each Cabinet member having his own Captain. Captains are responsible for ensuring all Bonafide soldiers kick ups come in and the influx of drugs and other merchandise reach their specific assigned jail/prison. The next step down is the lieutenant, these are the right hand man for Captains, majority of the time the Captains muscle, the enforcer. Now you have soldiers, this make up the bulk of the STG, these are principle money makers, and killers for the gang.

(( OOC: The Black Car is a group that hopes to establish a presence for black roleplayers within the prison facility whilst developing a realistic environment with real-life based roots, however, fictional development. The aims of this group are not to simply "control" all black factions on an OOC scale, but rather create a leading force in-character, and encourage individuals to roleplay within the facility that come from black gangs.

If you would like to be apart of the faction, have inquiries or criticisms, feel free to contact me at ren#1942 or Feodor#0187 on Discord. ))
