It's about two Louisiana State Police homicide detectives investigating the ritual death of a young woman. One of the best series to ever grace my television screen. True Detective is great, shame they didn't keep the same people for season 2. Link to comment

I think the series would have lost it's magic if they did. I like the fact that the entire first season is about 1 case that changed the lives of these detectives. If they had kept the same cast, it would just be another generic detective series. This way, they made something truely unique and memorable. I just think the second season was a bit of a flop because they went too over the top and started using a made up town as their main stage. I always dislike it when they do that. (Sons of Anarchy kind of pulled it off, but that's honestly one of the few.) Edited October 12, 2017 by Big_Smokes Link to comment

Bradley Oscar
Currently it'd have to be Mindhunter. It revolves around the behavioral science unit of the FBI and their quest to better understand "Sequence killers". Link to comment
