Del Perro Beach - A large brawl erupted between patrons of the 'Crimson Ghost' bar on Del Perro Beach Boardwalk and members of the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department on the evening of 4 March 2023, resulting in a Sheriff's Deputy being stabbed. The altercation began when Deputies attempted to make an arrest in the parking lot of the bar.

 

Eyewitness accounts indicate that a group of patrons exited the bar and began harassing the arresting Deputies. The situation quickly escalated, with more Deputies arriving to provide back-up. A fight broke out, with patrons attacking the Deputies with closed-fist strikes, kicks, and edged weapons. Some of the patrons are understood to be affiliated with White Supremacist skinhead gangs.

 

During the brawl, a Sheriff's Deputy was stabbed in the side and required emergency medical treatment. The injured Deputy is reported to be in a stable condition. The situation was eventually brought under control with the arrival of additional law enforcement personnel.

 

Jimmy Fletcher (25), was believed to be one of the bar's patrons, was arrested on charges of Attempted Capital Murder following the incident.

 

The Los Santos County Sheriff's Department has issued a statement urging residents and visitors to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement.
