LSSD Buy-Bust Ends with Shootout Written by Frank Quinonez

Detectives with the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department were conducting a buy-bust operation in city today at one of the popular nightclubs when a patron, a young European man approached a Detective and offered to sell them various types of illegal narcotics. An unnamed Detective from the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department made the following statement;

 

"We were in one of the clubs conducting an operation. While we were going to head out of the area, an individual approached us and offered to sell us some stuff. Coke, weed, pills, the works. We vested our interest and we told him we'd grab the cash. We setup our buy locale in Strawberry. The individual met us at the location and, upon seeing the outcome of the situation, drove and attempted to run over a responding Deputy. The suspect was then shot at that time."

 

The Los Santos County Sheriff's Department will be conducting a full-scale investigation into the incident to ensure the actions of the Deputies were lawful and within regulation.
