By late morning the day after Desmond Brown's death, his lawyer presents Lux Rémy (@lux) with a handwritten letter, a few personal effects and mementos, as well as a set of keys. Much in the same way David Rocha, Yvette Rocha's (@Captain) surviving son receives a written notification that Desmond Brown leaves in his name (in Yvette's absence) $120,000 to be administered for him by the authorities that take over his custody until he's of legal age to receive it in full.

In due time, 28-year-old Desmond's remains will be sent to Jamaica, back with his family, to be buried in the May-Pen Cemetery of Kingston, just a few streets away from his Denham Town of birth. He's survived by his foster mother "Auntie" Celeste Davis, and his six step-brothers and step-sisters: Kingsley, Chandice, Delroy, Jalissa, D'Angelo and Requiem.

Fin.
