thats atleast a little bit realistic depending where you're from

In the U.S.? Convenience stores often house CHEAP beers, and some times boxed wine, in their fridges. Liquor stores generally have the more brand-name or expensive alcoholic beverages.

I’ve personally never heard of a McDonalds, Whataburger, In N’ Out, Burger King etc selling alcohol to customers with their orders.

Pizza Nova sells beers, which are poured into plastic cups, depending on their location (Canada, though). Usually, smart serve (alcohol licenses) are issued to at least one store/restaurant/business in a PLAZA if one cannot consume alcohol on the premises. I.E. If a plaza lacks a bar? Then, they'll be generous when a fast-food chain requests for an alcohol license.

McDonalds/WhatABurger etc? Probably not.

Unrealistic?  Where in the world have you seen a fastfood joint that doesn't sell drinks and/or alcohol? What do you order when you're at a fastfood, one burger and a glass of non-mineral water straight out of the faucet?

If you just want your burger, then don't order a drink, you're not forced to use the bar whatsoever.

Everywhere. Literally every fast food spot doesn’t sell alcohol. You need to understand this isn’t Europe.

The thing is, plenty of businesses open that aren't bars or clubs and they get zero support. If nobody comes, people won't open the business.

And before someone jumps in and complains about people wanting to turn a profit. Standing in a business for three hours and only getting 5 customers is not fun RP either. If you want to see something other than bars or clubs, turn up when they open.

It's purely supply and demand.

The reason why coffee shops turn into cocktail bars lol. It’s a simple concept. If you want something different than bars and clubs, you have to show up when they open. Unique ideas pop up every now and then but they don’t last long when people don’t go RP there when opened. People revert back to what works. Even though everyone complains about too many bars and clubs, that’s what everyone shows up to ??‍♂️
