ERR_GFX_D3D_INIT error

Every time I try to log into the server I get this error. Anyone here know how to fix it?

I had this issue a couple days ago. I would load up the game,  the game crashes after 10-20 minutes of playing and would show that error. This continued happening until I did the following

- I reinstalled my graphics driver from scratch

- Reinstalled windows too (chose to keep the files the same though)

 

This seemed to have fixed the problem for me atleast, however I’m not sure 100% if this works for everyone. Here are my specifications if it helps.

 

RTX 2060 (Mobile)

Intel I7 9750H, 6 Cores

16 GB DDR4 RAM

I lowered my resolution and that seems to have fixed it for now. Hopefully I don't get it no more.

If you've got Nvidia Shadowplay enabled turning that off could help.
Solved it for me.

Sometimes Steam overlay can fuck you game up. Turn that off. If not that, then reinstall your graphics driver completely. If not that, then try a fresh install of GTAV or RAGE. Let me know how this goes. Or, you can just can keep playing in low resolution.
