gtmp wont launch, sp always does

i've tried everything, removing read only permission from folders, running gtmp with admin permission, reinstalling and relocating it to gta 5 folder n out of it. idk what else to do to fix it

Does the launcher open? What exactly happens?

it opens, i launch it but it just goes to SP every time

uh try to restart ur pc once.

head into regedit, then go to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER ---> Software ---> Wow6432Node ---> Rockstar Games --> Grand Theft auto

Then check if "install dir" and "gtmp" matches/are correct.

That fixed my issue since it was pointing to a wrong directive.


Are you using a legit version or a pirate version?

Play as administrator.

If the above suggestions don't work, try hitting the 'LAUNCH' button in the top right, instead of connecting to the server from the client.

i dont have that, and im using social club legitimate version
