It’s a tedious process but it is possible. Not sure that he can do it directly through the game settings, however there are few mods I've used back in time which remove certain ambient sounds. As I said above: You need to dig into the archives (resident.rpf etc) and find it. I've seen a couple mods but they usually only remove the random music playing around. 1 Link to comment
