He and his family are residing in Roy Lowenstein Boulevard. His father is serving 20 years in prison for second-degree murder, so he's living with his grandmother, mother, and his mother's sister. He only gets to see or talks to his father through some glass. His relationship with his father is not very close since all this he's been in prison. There was only his mother, grandmother, and his aunt that helped him through his childhood. Austin never got involved with drugs even though he used to live in the worst part of Sacramento, where the crime rate is high. Also in Los Santos, he doesn't get to live in a good neighborhood due to financial issues his family been struggling with. Most of his father's family side is part of a gang. His mother only wishes that her son doesn't become like his father. When Austin turned sixteen, he and his mom moved out to an apartment in Strawberry but still in the same area. People that Austin met since he moved to LS from California most definitely made him into a different person. Ever since he hopped off the porch, he started hanging out with them, thrown around some cash on some weed, and went posting up around a store, wishing to double up his money to spend on new clothes. Austin never said he was going to left school: his teenager life is still regular but just a more couple things that were added into his life, or more activities to do in his life. Austin's mother doesn't know what kind of people Austin has been around with. She only cares about bringing more money into the house and make sure Austin's going to graduate high school.
