At present, it represents workers in the Waste Management, Construction & the Freight Divisions. The local 3623 works with a single belief and motive. The eyes of the administration do not see the city in motion with buildings, freight or tools. We certainly don't see food chains, politics, a set of rules or protests either. If there’s one and only thing we do see, it’s people. No matter what background or race. With the local 3263, you come under the umbrella of an organization whose mission remains to find the best of opportunities for yourself, and to speak on your behalf whenever necessary. A hundred years ago, during the early decades of the teamsters, the problems we faced as a union were all spontaneous . A member was no more than a 'worker'. Administration positions will not be introduced out of thin air, the body will be formed gradually over-time. The faction will also involve union elections down the line for these positions, the elected representatives thus always working with a power struggle, carrying the responsibility to use their funds right to maintain the trust of the members.
