[OPEN POSTING] Nursing Staff

 

As a Nursing Staff for the Department of Health and Human Services' Pillbox Hill Medical Center you will be involved in the patient care whithin the whole facility. Alongside colleagues and your supervisors, your responsibilities will be to report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions. These may include but are not limited to vital signs, weights or assisting patients with personal care and acitivities of daily living. Furthermore, duties of a Nursing Staff are the demonstration of a positive, concerned and sensitive response in the workplace, to assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly. [OPEN POSTING] Psychologist

 

Psychologists employed by the Department of Health and Human Services will work underneath Psychiatrists to carry out the various treatments outlined in the treatment plan which is developed by Psychiatrists. This will include performing therapies, such as psychotherapy or “talk therapy,” as well as gathering the mental health history of a patient, making observations, and drawing conclusions about the patient’s mental health. The Psychologist will report the findings to a Psychiatrist and will assist in keeping detailed records of patients as they progress through treatment.

Performs a variety of cleaning, sanitizing and janitorial tasks in and around hospital buildings or official event sites and minor ground-keeping tasks adjacent to said buildings. They have to ensure that everything is in working condition and if not, they shall take care of the problem and have to repair it immediately. The scope of the duties will be very diverse. Primarily, however, the practical-technical work is in the focus, such as cleaning the stairs, operating the central heating system and ensuring a general smooth running of the hospital.

Work Coaches are particularly important for patients who are nearing the end of their rehabilitation program and it is their responsibility to improve employability. Work Coaches directly support patients by enhancing their CVs, encouraging them to attend skill-building classes with Activity Coordinators, holding mock interviews, and much more. An important responsibility of a Work Coach is to build rapport with businesses across Los Santos and collaborate with managers to find work for unemployed patients, and successful Work Coaches will be able to accentuate patients' strengths over their weaknesses. Moreover, successful Work Coaches will be able to match unemployed patients to a suitable placement dependent on their unique skill-sets, experience, and general interests.

Activity Coordinators work with patients by leading productive sessions relevant to their chosen specialisms. These sessions enable patients to build their skill-set and create a healthier, more productive lifestyle throughout their rehabilitation program. A successful Activity Coordinator will be able to teach passionately in a way that encourages involvement and participation. While Activity Coordinators may not know the ins and outs of each patient's condition, they should be able to build strong professional relationships, form bonds with patients, and create a tight-knit community of learners within the center. Internal Activity Coordinators will join our payroll while External Activity Coordinators will be paid per session.

[OPEN POSTING] Rehabilitation Case Worker

 

Working directly with patients in conjunction with the Department of Mental Health at Pillbox Hill Medical Center, Case Workers are the focal point of Phoenix Health and Rehabilitation and directly oversee the success of the rehabilitation program. Case Workers will meet with their assigned patients on a regular basis to monitor and report progress towards achieving sobriety and ensure that they are meeting their personal goals to allow them to become more productive members of society. Case Workers should be entirely comfortable with discussing sensitive issues with patients and be able to address behavioral and mental health concerns with the appropriate authorities, including (but not limited to) their patient's assigned Psychiatrist. A successful Case Worker will be able to create a strong professional relationship with their patients and create an entirely comfortable and supportive environment for their rehabilitative process.
