seriously dont get why a sheriff department is taking on the role of department of corrections, it should be two separate factions - nonetheless it's nice to have a PRISON in the server finally..

Such is the case in most county jails throughout the US anyway. "The duties for deputy sheriffs vary by state but may include maintaining county jails, acting as security in courts, investigating crimes or accidents, and issuing warrants."

Sheriff's Departments/Offices operate Jails throughout the United States. Twin Towers' 'real world' equivalent is operated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff.

Glad we're almost here. Been waiting for a long time!

There is no federal or state department of corrections nor is there a federal or state penitentiary or prison. What part of county JAIL did you miss?

Regardless I’m excited to see this come to fruition, long have I waited to enjoy a proper jail. I welcome the extended sentences.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department operates the largest jail system in the world. The Los Angeles County Jail provides incarceration services for all of the County (including cities like Los Angeles, Glendale, Burbank, and Long Beach). For instance, the Twin Towers Correctional Facility (TTCF) is a jail ran by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department — which is the facility and department we're role playing here.

We are not a prison, and we are not the California Department of Corrections, we are a county jail and we are the Sheriff's Department. The two are very different.
