Delivery job is modern-age slavery.

Adding to all the points above, it's supposed to be a low amount of money doing it by yourself, to stop people just grinding npc jobs and having little interaction on the server.

You will really enjoy it more if you insert yourself either in a trucking company, or finding actual roleplay with others and earn more doing so. The fact you say you need to drive at reckless speeds kinda shows to me you're not doing it for the roleplay; which isn't what this community is about.

You may have goals to run an empire one day and have a monopoly in LS, that really won't happen grinding a trucking job and wouldn't happen in real life just being a trucker.

The server naturally makes sure you don't need to grind one minute by giving you $5k for the first 40 hours in game. That's translated in $200k by the time you hit 40 hours in game. If you put a script-wise job with $800 an hour, you get ~$230k by the time you hit those 40 hours. Give or take $200k, say you rent a place til then and spend money on outfits, a smartphone, and whatever items your character may need to role-play through those 40 hours in game.

Your problem is you're treating the trucking job as if it is supposed to make a tremendous amount of money when in reality, it's there to be role-played just like any other job. Want more money? Either work more, team up with a logistics company, or switch the trade. It's that easy. The job's fine but your perception isn't and you won't be able to get out of this rabbit hole until you change your mindset about what you want because it fundamentally comes down to role-playing a character and that character making money as part of its development rather than you farming money for whatever purpose.
