Both things can just be handled through roleplay. The less commands based on roleplay the server has, the better. They're really not needed.

Speaking low and whispering can also be done through roleplay yet we have commands reserved for them to make MG situations less likely.

It isn't a feature that reduces RP in any way. Its addition would have no ill effects whatsoever for languages. Its addition would be the same as having multiple radio channels. You type /r1 for channel one. You type /t1 for language one.

Script commands aren't meant to replace roleplay they're meant to compliment it. This does that. It doesn't reduce the # of people using emotes.

Edit: It's not like either suggestion says: "Lets add gibberish that will appear if you see someone type in another language."

Low and whisper are also something you can't just roleplay properly. They also aid with reducing spam in high traffic areas.

I am very happy that the entire luck based system was left behind on GTASA, please do not introduce it here, /attempt adds nothing but total atrocity to the server.

I agree with Jimenez.

These suggestions, unfortunately, don't bring anything to the table.

We aren't exactly interested in introducing RNG to a roleplay server with the intention of basing roleplay on it.

As for languages, why not just use brackets ._.

For the same reason that there are shorter versions of server commands (Or rather they are supported). It saves the person doing them time. I can only assume that people that aren't for it just don't do this so it doesn't benefit them. Brackets would still be used no matter what. A server's solution should never be to rely on third party apps/scripts. Keybinding should be discouraged.

You can, people simply won't acknowledge it always. Evidence of that can be seen even with these commands present. You can roleplay through an emote speaking low or in a whisper then if you don't use the command the other person will say they'd of heard it.  The same can be said about typing in another language. I've given detailed explanations for how there's no downside if it's implemented right and only benefits. It's just a difference of opinions I guess.

When it comes to reducing spam, that's true.
