Trukken Posted September 21, 2019 Share Posted September 21, 2019 Short description: Establish locations where truckers can drive crates either at a reduced price or with some handicap if there are no deliveries available. Detailed description: Right now it's quite a pain in the ass to have this screen pop up quite frequently. Making the non player owned businesses buy crates every one in a while doesn't really help truckers as it is rather a temporary fix for a problem that requires a permanent solution. I am open for discussion on whether it should be on a reduced price or maybe the fixed location would be only available during major shortage in deliveries like the one illustrated. Commands to add: None Items to add: Drop off points for truckers How would your suggestion improve the server? Mitch Posted September 21, 2019 Share Posted September 21, 2019 I'm for this, truckers have been seeking a proper solution for a while when no businesses are accepting deliveries, perhaps some locations around the city, reduce the delivery fee, while it might turn away truckers, it'll still give them stuff to do 2 Link to comment
Luna Posted September 21, 2019 Share Posted September 21, 2019 If less then 50 deliveries have been available within the past 30 minutes to a regular business, then 100 deliveries should become available to a static delivery point for 80% of the normal purchase price. Once those 100 deliveries have been delivered, the 30 minute counter should reset. 1 Link to comment

We have to find a middle ground and I believe NPC businesses would be that solution. Link to comment

Trukken Posted September 30, 2019 Author Share Posted September 30, 2019 Had the chance to look into the js files that are on the client side, if semi trucks will only be able to deliver gas with tanker trailers that gonna be a huge flop. Trucking is already missing a few key features that would make it unique and engage the community in a more impactful manner, but if semis gonna be implemented the way they are left in the client side code, it is going to be a major let down. We need solution for the current situation, that being literally 0 businesses to deliver to. Link to comment
