LSPD SWAT are deployed to Forum Drive in the early hours of Friday Morning after a male fires at officers following a pursuit. On arrival at the property, SWAT officers take fire from the armed suspect inside.

Armed Pursuit

LSPD SWAT are deployed to Banham Canyon Drive after report of a kidnapping. The suspect vehicle is spotted, and two suspects from the vehicle open fire at officers.

 

The pursuit stops in Banham Canyon after the vehicle drives into a ravine.

Barricaded Suspect

LSPD SWAT and LSSD SWT perform a breach of an apartment where a suspect armed with an automatic rifle has barricaded himself.

Despite negotiation attempts and less lethal attempts, the team is forced to make entry. Shots are fired inside, and despite life saving efforts between the LSPD's Tactical Medic Unit and the Fire Department, the suspect is pronounced deceased inside.
