Rin Posted August 15, 2019 Share Posted August 15, 2019 (edited) Did you try unplugging all of your USB devices except for mouse & keyboard? Deleting the Rockstar Games folder in My Documents? ( make a backup before by simply renaming the whole folder ) Closing any program that is running in the background, antivirus, adware, overlays, etc... edit: nvm didn't see you completely formatted your computer too Edited August 15, 2019 by Rin Link to comment
Rayy Posted August 15, 2019 Share Posted August 15, 2019 I seriously think you haven't added GTA 5 to your anti virus program and its stopping you from starting it, which is normal as gta/rage isn't on that list of games thats auto added. Go to your antivirus/firewall, add GTA5 EXE and RAGE Exe to the sites it doesn't block. Bospy Posted August 16, 2019 Share Posted August 16, 2019 "Status access violation" sounds like an antivirus issue but it also could be a corrupted registry. You might need to rebuild your computer registry keys. Link to comment

Rayy Posted August 21, 2019 Share Posted August 21, 2019 Can you do me a lovely favor, Search into windows settings "Firewall", click on "Windows Defender Firewall", then do "Advanced settings" make sure GTA 5 and rage have green check marks next to them. Like this Link to comment
