misTake
I’m pretty sure that you can apply to be a terrorist. It’s actually good to see this kind of roleplay every now and then. Brings a lot of it to it, such as detectives trying to locate them, bomb squad with their new robot, media, medical roleplay, public works, even coroners. This shouldn’t happen often, but when it does I’m glad that it was roleplayed properly. Still not sure why are people against it, it’s not like this happens every week. I had no involvement in this but I’m pretty sure it was fun RP. 1 Link to comment
Parade
Normally I'm critical of things but I actually enjoyed the event. It involved many people and has created an interesting dynamic. My only criticism is they didn't even put down a buncha sticky bombs and blow it up with the local event text. Edited March 27 by Parade 1 Link to comment
varthshenon
I remember that they removed the terrorist restriction from the rule a long time ago, so it's at least not breaking any of them. I just hope that this event is being carried over within the lore and not just do and forget, since bombing is a very extreme incident realistically. 1 Link to comment

Kyyrie
As someone personally affected ICly by this event, I loved it. The interactions with the police, the outrage from the public about losing their businesses and homes, the whole lead up to it. As @nickM said, if you didn't enjoy it, you can simply opt out of it. But I feel like this has created an interesting dynamic between the illegal factions of the area and the legal factions, both of whom should be working together to get their home turf fixed up. 2 1 Link to comment
nokturn
The event was extremely questionable roleplay if I'm going to be honest, I'm just going to come out and say it, public opinion's a thing and it needs to be said. It's clear there's a lack of research gone into said event, and it was only done because "oh wow... massive impact for the server, bomb go boom". For an apparent "300 pound" bomb, it somehow only destroyed one building. Shattered glass to another. I want you guys to understand something... a 300 pound bomb is not light, infact, 300 pound bombs are usually dropped by aircraft, they're major explosions that can effect God knows how many city blocks. If that bomb was really 300 pounds? Why isn't the entire area decimated into dust? It also feels targeted, a 300 pound bomb, the Republican HQ gets destroyed, but another political HQ a 100 down only has shattered window glass? 300 pound bomb, but only one person injured? That would've sent people backwards into oblivion if they were within the general area. A 300 pound bomb is quite literally the most drummed up Hollywood video gamey aspect of this event. Had it been something like 10 pounds of C4 or something, cool, understandable... but 300 pounds? Not to mention it isn't even RPed realistically to the aftermath of what a 300 pound explosion would look like? I'm sorry but... no. There's events that are cool, events that are not it, and events that are outright stupid as they come. This is one of those events. I wouldn't even be surprised if factions reported this event, because it's genuinely absurd. 13 Link to comment
b777v
I have hard time to accept that few people are actually trying to cancel such a roleplay or any kind of roleplay. I don't understand what does it trigger you exactly to be so denial about roleplay? That's just situation as any other that happen in real life and why would you forbid it in game? I enjoy and welcome open handedly every type of roleplay because at the end of the day that's exactly why are we here. I am on the legal side of roleplay and i've been affected by it IC and I can only say I love that here and there we go out of monotony and have various events to attend to. If i might add i would be even happier if more events occur. It created roleplay for 6 and more factions such as: LSPD, MEDS, GOVS, PUBLIC CLEANERS, faction that was attacked, and faction THAT attacked. I really don't understand why would you try to cancel these or any other events. Everyone that was present at a scene last night loved it. Edited March 27 by b777v 1 1 1 Link to comment
