I wanted to open a blacksmithing/forge facility a while ago, but i still have my main and cba to try balance two chars out. If someone opened one it'd be super dope though. Especially as the craft is going through something of a renaissance at the moment.

Just to chime in here as Property Management - We as a team are open to unique ideas more than I would say rinse and repeat ideas, the problem isn't inheritly Property Management but it also the community, if a niche concept opens up the owner has to rely on the community wanting to engage with their unique idea, which more often than not, they don't.

We've seen unique ideas come and go but fizzle and die due to a lack of interest shown amongst the area in which they station themselves in and we as Property Management, can only offer so much script support and budget requests - it's a collective thing to make a unique business thrive.

Another factor in unique ideas/concepts is that people realise it doesn't rake in hundreds of thousands, and that's often a contributing factor to these concepts fizzling up.

What I will say is, there's a lot more means for unique RP to thrive and flourish in today's climate, with the poster system, budgets, script support, events channel (posters etc), setting up flyers around the city/county etc - if you're interested in a unique concept, not sure where to start throw in a ticket in our discord, we're more than happy to discuss the best route for you and find a place for the idea.

One concept that I've yet to witness is Serial Killer Roleplay

Coming from someone that was lead in investigation for this roleplay for a while (Morse Code Killer, as others have stated circa.2022) in SD, this was done and people enjoyed it.

At first.

However, it was handled extremely poorly, lots of bad blood, and as a result has had LFM restrict this type of roleplay massively. People got tired of it quick, got annoyed because of the way it was handled, and it eventually became a massive admin case. Now, as a result, because it happened once and it was done poorly, it's now on a very tight leash for others. I'm not entirely confident on the matter but I have been told that if this was to be a thing, it requires vetting from LFM and a lot, and I mean a lot, of supervision.

Ontopic, I'd like to see some regular day-to-day RP ngl. Seeing people actually 'live' in the city has become such a rarity that it's become a meme within PD\SD that domestic calls are heavily saught after and a garuanteed quality roleplay scene.

I try to RP that, despite of the limitations or things I would like to have too in the server. Sadly is not what people like due some of them say they dont want to have a life 2.0 and do the same things on their real life.

There will always be support for unique, creative and niche concepts from the teams that support these areas of the community, and their growth. I will always do all I can to support these, given they're done correctly, and realistically.

To be honest I was terrified for a couple years to kick-off a Video Game Studio property/Business. I was always told PM was strict, unforgivably so, and thought the norm was to focus on things the crowd wanted. The niche(ness) of businesses run by individuals which don't outright farm scripts/money is indeed worth the title of 'Niche' and I feared it'd be a character-bricking occurrence. Make character, found studio, no interest, fail to maintain property/expenses, fall to the wayside.

However, PM has been NOTHING but supportive of my absolutely goofy and simply non-beneficial-to-the-city ideas and I used past experiences to push for this 'dream business' idea. It worked! Now my current main runs a game studio, we don't product much (right now) but having a realistically protrayed studio and homebase for Forum Livestreams has been great.

Yes, it's an ABSOLUTE money sink, but where's the fun in having 900k moni and nothing to spend it -on-?

(( ask Rainbow how many goofy requests to PM I send))

Well I have YET to see, properly working religious cult.

Did for a while!

'The Crytids' was a very very esoteric group of simple odd people, freaks, run-aways, drug-addicts and legit psychopaths. All of them followed the 'Druid of Skulls' who was also suffering from a condition of her own which borderlines schizophrenia. This resulted in the collaborative efforts of people pretending to be animals and swarming the (at the time very active) SAPR Rangers, placing effigies all over Paleto and County, and sightings like Bagman, Sand-Snake, The Clown Crowd, Wendi-Gordo, The Skinwalker Swarm, and others.

We were small but the times we properly coordinated when we knew camping trips were occurring, it was very fun RP.

Only downside was the increase in attention resulted in the occasional rifle round flying over our heads...

I call SD for stray cats in my air ducts, constantly ask Fire Marshals to show up and re-approve new installations, check sprinklers and certifications, and constantly get Public Works to try and come balance my electrical utilities after I map-in new computers or servers.

It's fun!

The trick is catching them at the right times. During peak-hours SD/PD really isn't going to wanna show up just to help you unlock your car because the keys were inside... but I could be wrong!

All-in-all I've never had ISSUES or negativity involving domestic calls or just outright silly calls, but you have to ensure you're not just wasting their time or abusing 911. The problem comes when sometimes Non-Emergency lines aren't properly overseen and thus go un-responded too.

I would have loved to have the different driver´s licenses not only the car one, but the bike one, commercial ones, etc. That you could have a /cmd where you can see your license with your photo, info and the vehicles you are allowed to drive (not an item).

Also having to do different tests and the practice exam with each vehicle, having another character with you monitoring that you have the skills to pass the exam.

I'm not sure if it's been done in the past but I haven't seen it in the couple of years I've been on World.

Native Americans in the County, be it illegal or communities in general. It'd be really cool to see a Native American illegal faction up there.
