What's your favorite type of roleplay?

Recommended Posts

I've tried different legal roleplay in some factions on GTAW, such as security, LEO, Public Works, IMEX (HR), and I gotta be honest, each of the factions I mentioned got their pros and cons, like everything in life but I've been attached to the security RP ever since I joined the server which was in June 2021, and nowadays I find it super fun, considering the people you interact with (colleagues, random civilians, LEOs), the RP, the scripts, the passive RP you can do by yourself, and everything about it makes me wanna login and play.

Public Works was a great experience as well, both as Parking Enforcement and as a Technician, however, since I lean more towards Passive RP, I've enjoyed the Technician side more, since 90% of their work/tasks are based on the people's creativity, ideas, and mostly fixing public properties, such as hydrants, painting red curbs, painting over the road markings, road closures, guard rails replacements, road pavements, and the rest of the 10% are thankfully due to our amazing game developers and the random generated events such as boulders falling off hills and blocking roads, hydrants leaking, sewage water... (Trust me, it's a terrible experience, especially when people with fast cars speed through and splash you with with this special type of water!).

LEO RP is good, but due to English not being my native language, I struggled a lot with my vocal speech during the early days, mostly in pursuits, however, people were and still welcoming there (there are still some bad apples tho), however, the good ones are always there to help you whenever you need. (Shout out to @Krittipaws@Sonic060, @Carlin, @Survivalmaster, @ThePlod, and some others for being so wholesome and super supportive!)

But yeah, security RP is & will always be my favorite, of course, not a lot of people see it fun, but for me I find it as my home, especially around these people: @iTzKIAoO@Pengu, @Spring, @qken, @Eurynomos, @Cryptixz, and some other wholesome and supportive people.

True. Security RP was so much fun. It was my first legal job for my first character in GTAW. I miss it sometimes.

Running a business is my favourite RP. Finding legal employees is a nightmare. Finding people who want to RP in some sort of detail, rather then just get cash to fund their illegal RP. A nightmare.

Unique ideas are the funnest, but trying to get funding/faction engagement to turn a profit is very hard. Running  small bar is easy, but ends up feeling like a chat room more then a roleplay. Been a supervisor for taxi companies too, a lot of fun.

hard agree. It was a very fun experience even just being a gas station attendant and being robbed. The roleplay in each situation & scenario is actually really involving as you get to see people in those panicked stats that they can get into b e resolved (or crushed) depending on how quick authorities arrive.
