In one breath, Preston claims I've done nothing for the Southern District, while in another he brokers deals with the private security industry to pump Davis full of cheap drugs and guns. Ask yourself why there's more liquor and gun stores, gun-related homicides, and drug overdoses in the Southern District than anywhere else in the city? It's because without the systemic abuse of Southern District residents, the deep state wouldn't have a population to exploit and profit from.

I've fulfilled the duty I swore to uphold as councilor by revealing this conspiracy. Finally, the citizens of San Andreas will wake up and free themselves from this tyranny. First, you must understand that the deep state cares only about one thing - maintaining power over you. For this reason, you're not allowed to prosper. They pump our streets full of cheap drugs and subsidize the laboratories that produce them. They keep you addicted, and hungry enough to be dependent on them for survival, because independence would be a threat to their power.

 

Because I have dared to stand up to this machine, the deep state has weaponized this case to fulfill their agenda of total control. While at first I was only seeking humble redemption for my soul, they now see my revelation as a threat. For this reason, they've put words in my mouth and tried to paint me as a turncoat, in order to justify my assassination. Please know that I have never betrayed the confidence of my clients, and I will never betray the oath of secrecy I swore when I became a lawyer, and I will take those secrets to my grave.

 

The deep state will martyr me for what I've done, but they can never undo what I've revealed. Judgement day is coming for you, Mr. Preston.

Show us some evidence - all I'm seeing are unfounded claims.

We're a municipal government, we deal with things like parking restrictions and zoning - and you're using phrases like "deep state". Psychotic.

Comment:  It's very unreasonable to expect anyone to have knowledge of a murder committed 14 years ago, especially when law enforcement was unaware, and the truth only came to light through his confession. Show some maturity and acknowledge the gravity of the situation at hand. Blaming innocent people for political gain is not only irresponsible but disgraceful. If you're choosing this path, you're no better than Buntz for which I encourage you to resign  immediately. 

If the Democrats want to discuss nominating poor candidates, they should start by looking at their own people. What meaningful achievements can be credited to any Democrat on the City Council? Two of your newest members have accomplished nothing despite months in office, and another has been there for nearly a year with no significant impact. Sophie Wu stepped down after cashing a few government paychecks, and Olivia Zhao has only proposed one bill, a proposal that would burden event organizers with excessive logistics and paperwork and it's been sitting in limbo for ages as she's never followed up on it or proposed any amendments the Council has asked of her.

 

Do better and actually try to help people like this administration has. Hopefully the upcoming election sees some reasonable candidates, and not people looking for public servant paychecks.
