Unless we start seeing prison filling up and it's booming with activity. I don't see the need to have another prison which would require a whole other faction and a whole new mapping to accommodate this.

SADCR is inactive as is, doing this would split inmate base even more than it is.

 

I get it, it's realistic and I genuinely think this is a good idea overall, but we have to take a step away from real life and play it out with our creativity, as it's better for the server.

Unfortunately, this is part of the whole argument when it comes to implementing anything federal. Doesn't matter if it is the the district court, US Attorney's Office, Bureau of Prisons, or federal law enforcement, they are dependant on each other. One functions only if the other is present. So, just stick with a system without feds.

Not enough activity to support that. Most people who get prison sentences just go and play something else until it's completed.

I'd love for more opportunities for certain things but I don't think the current correctional facilities are used to their peak at the moment. I think when people get taken in, they lose activity or move to other characters which makes them less likely to engage in the roleplay available in those environments.
