Unable to Connect Forum Account to UCP

Following a stray of events, where I've been unable to connect my forum account to my UCP, and general delay of notifications has left me recently with admin punishment. I'm having the current problems;

• I'm unable to receive notifications that I had a report on me via UCP. @Pegasus had recently issued a report which they were the handling admin. I had received no notifications via UCP so I wasn't able to respond to the report in time.

TLDR; I'm unable to be notified about reports made against me. It only notifies me after the fact, and in the case with Pegasus I received a 1 day ban that was then clarified I couldn't see the report so I was unaware one was made against me. I have asked my GTAW Developers via Discord Dms but all of them said they cannot help me, are on LOA, or no reply at all.

Hey@counting my slugs, thank you for bringing this forward.

 

Admin and in-game notifications do not appear as notifications on your Discord or UCP; an admin is more likely to tag you if you did link your forum account. 

 

The link between the game and the UCP is required for your forum rank/access.

 

You can submit a punishment appeal if you believe there was a mistake. Still, at least 24, 48, or 72 hours are usually given to acknowledge the in-game notification and respond, which is a reasonable time.

Thank you for your response, I'd like to clarify further.

 

According to the UCP, my account IS linked to forums. However in every report I've had against me I never recieved the notification In Game. I have played the server since 2021, and I know what the notification looks like. However I simply do not receive them on forums anymore. Hence why I'm asking for some sort of Developer / Admin to reset the link between the two.

 

Correct, they are needed and I have linked them in the past. But for the past 2 reports none of the admins had tagged my forum account AND the screenshot I provided on the forum shows it says its not connected. But on my UCP it does. Thats why I'm asking for some developer to check the link as I'm assuming there is a bug.

 

I understand your last point, but for example last report I had against me, there was some admins who DID not believe I wasnt able to see notifications in game and I couldnt clarify or show proof since I was banned for not replying, which in the end the report ended on my favor and the ban was appealed. It makes it very annoying and creates alot of issues where a developer can check to see why my account has this issue. I'd like to save admins time, and even with a time extension its still a hassle when it can all be prevented if I receive the notification earlier.

The notification is sent in-game and has nothing to do with UCP-Forum connection.

I can test it out with you separately, reach out to me on discord and link this thread

Not sure for the specific report but right now it is correctly linked
