CowboyYoda22
LOS SANTOS UNIFIED ATHLETIC CONFERENCE (AGES 14 - 19) PREMISE The LOS SANTOS UNIFIED ATHLETIC CONFERENCE represents the athletic conference between the sixteen metropolitan schools located within the Los Santos County Unified School District. Los Santos is home to just a little over one million students distributed across its county, and with it comes the tradition of sports -- from Football, Basketball, Baseball, Volleyball and Soccer. This project aims to represent one portion of the high school athletic sports life, High School Basketball. The league currently will have one team that operates fully ic with practices, game aftermaths, mentorship, and team comrade, and that's The Davis High Bears. This team is expected to be fully ic, as we already have a school project, so we can explore issues such as truancy, discipline with the law, etc. The League also has a variety of schools that are located across the city from public schools, catholic schools, and prep academies -- while I can't have a full school system for everyone, these teams are available for those who wish to have their character imported into NBA 2K, see their stats and overviews, and RP it icly without having to RP other aspects of school life. Los Santos County Unified Schools: Davis High "Bears" - Located in Chamberlain Hills, the school is one of the largest public schools in the city. The team has had a handful of good players over the course of their history, but due to the presence of gang violence and drugs in the area, most students with promise tend to transfer to prep schools such as London Hills, Rockford Academy, or Saint Edwards. Their school rivals are El Rancho High "Cowboys". Lincoln Hills "Hornets" - Located along Dutch London and just off the highway from the Los Santos International Airport, Lincoln Hills is a premier junior college program that attracts students from all over the United States to come to their campus program for the specific goal of educated centered around their sports lives. Lincoln Hills has been known to have games played on ESPN in the past, and has been nationally ranked in the past. To give their kids a more consistent playing schedule, Lincoln Hills joined the athletic conference. Though they have no natural rivals in the city, a rivalry has formed between them and the Seoul High "Tigers", due to the two teams making it to the State Championship games in recent years. El Rancho High "Cowboys" - A low income high school located on the edge of South Central and East Los. The school is predominately Hispanic and African American, and suffers from poor funding and gang violence and crime. Their biggest rivals is Davis High "Bears". Vespucci Central High "Pirates" - Located in the southern portions of the Vespucci Canals and beach area, the school has a diverse mix of students attending their public school. Similar to Davis, and Rancho -- Vespucci Central suffers from poor funding and gang violence within their school. Their biggest rival is the school up north, Del Perro High School. Cypress Heights High School "Red Devils" - Located in the southern portion of the Cypress Flats area, CHHS is predominately an ethnically white and African American population. They have a strong girl's team, while their boy's teams are more known for Football over Basketball. Their school rivals are the La Mesa High "Rebels". El Burro High School “Knights” - Another blue collar school with mediocre resources and funding. Located in El Burro Heights, the school is predominately Hispanic and White. Their rivals are Murrieta Valley High "Vikings". La Mesa Central High School "Rebels" - Located in the upper La Mesa city limits, the school is another large blue collar high school, made up of predominately white students, with a sizeable portion of asian students that fall within the school district lines along the edges of Chinatown. Their school rival is Cypress Heights High School. Murrieta Valley High "Vikings" - Located on the rural fringes of East Los, Murietta valley is a predominately white school that has poor funding and a large drug problem. Their biggest rivals are the larger El Burro High School. East Vine Hills High School "Wildcats" - The smaller and overshadowed school in Vinewood. The school has a rich history of athletics and has a decent funding for their academics programs. Their biggest rival is West Vinewood High School. Mirror Park High School "Bulldogs" - Located in the heart of Mirror Park, the school has strong funding and academics, though a rising increase in crime and drug related offenses in the school. They are one of the largest schools in all of Los Santos County, and are known to have a spirited rivalry with the largest school in the county -- Pillbox Central High School. Pillbox Central High School "Owls" - The largest school in all of Los Santos, the school is located in Legion Square. It's school lines run through all of downtown, parts of Hawick, Chinatown, Rockford, and South Central. Their biggest rivals is Mirror Park High School. Saint Edwards Catholic High School "Flying Falcons" - The largest Catholic High School in all of Los Santos. Saint Edwards (aka Saint Ed's) is a well funded school program with a great sports program. Many students and top athletes attend the school in an attempt to further their college chances. Their biggest rival is Rockford Hills Academy. Del Perro High School "Spartans" - Brings in students from the Del Perro and Morningwood area. The school is known for decent funding, but high crime and drug issues. Their biggest rival is Vespucci Central High School. Rockford Academy "Barons" - An elite prep school and private academy for the rich and affluent. Their sports program continues to grow and dominate throughout Los Santos with the implementation of "Name, Image and Likeness". Some of the best athletes in the state are now attending Rockford Academy. Their biggest rivalries are Saint Edwards and Lincoln Hills. West Vinewood High School "Stars" - A well funded public school that is home to middle class and upper class students. Located close to the Vinewood Hills, the team sports a team name that fits the illusion of the Vinewood dream. Their biggest rivals are East Vine Hills High School. Seoul High School "Tigers" - A well funded school system with a strong academics and sports program. The school has had an increase in gang violence and drugs in recent years, but hasn't ruined the overall resources that are afforded to the school. The school is predominately attended by Asian Americans and Hispanics. Due to Seoul's recent run in the middle 2010s, their rivals have become London Hills in La Puerta. HOW TO SIGN UP: If you want to have the full experience of high school sports and basketball in character, you must attend Davis High School and go through IC tryouts. Everyone else is free to sign up as requesting to be from one of the above schools. If we for whatever reason get a big influx of players or interest, we could see if we could find other coaches and what not. I will be running simulations in NBA 2K25, which means that if there is interest, I can even do a girl's division too. Signup Form: Character Name: School Enrolled: Age (between 14-19 years of age only): Photo Reference or Character Description: Skill Level (will determine the overall level of your stats in the simulation): *Unathletic: Can barely stand on their own two feet or move. You probably shouldn't have made the team, but your school didn't have enough kids for the team. *Average Joe: You're just an average kid, with an average height and weight. You're not gonna set the world on fire, but you signed up to have fun. *Athletic: You're known as the "Jock" or kid that likes to play sports. You might play two or three sports during the school year. You're athletic, but outside of maybe playing Division III or II you'll likely never play in College. *College Bound: You're a step above, you're most likely playing one sport only and you have people coming out to watch your games specifically to scout you. Your goal is to play Division I basketball at a respectable school. (Should be your character focus if you choose this) *Superstar: You've been scouted since you were nine years in AAU, you're most likely on the ESPN All-100 High Schoolers list. People are coming out to film hoop-tapes about you. Most people think if you stay healthy, you'll most likely make it to the NBA or at least a premier blue chip basketball program in college. (Your character should have the development and be built around this if you're gonna choose this) ((If you have any questions, reach out to me in DMs.)) 16 4 Link to comment

CowboyYoda22
We got 3/5 people needed for a starting five, but obviously if more people sing up for Davis -- we'll have more. We'll still end up RPing tryouts even if we don't have a full roster ((just for the rp at that point)). I'm also taking students that want to rp from one of the different schools, just so we can have some teams with actual IC characters, instead of random generated ones. 1 Link to comment
Dimes
I remember simulating the ULSA games in 2K and it was quite dope, but needs roleplay commitment from those who are involved (practices and such). Good luck with this. 1 Link to comment
