mj2002
I believe this script was implemented in this way in order to make life easier for everyone, at that time. This is from before /bpay, so what the idea is that the customer uses /pay to the employee, and the employee pays the company for the 'production costs' of the item created using /createitem. The alternative requires more paperwork so this is the simplest solution. I'm curious if there's a way in which to make it easier right now. Link to comment
zodiac98177
+1 Make is to /createitem uses the business' bank account to pay for the product and not from the employee pocket. Currently if you sell expensive items / watches for example for 40k a piece, your employee must have 20k to create it. If you sell 10 watches in a single opening, your employee must have 200k in their bank to make them which brings 2 issues. 1. Does the employee have the script money in their account to make them or he'll have to stop selling them after he goes bankrupt before he/she gets paid in the end. 2. You as the owner need to do bonus calculations in the end of your openings for each employee and what they sold so you can refund them the amounts along with paying them their salaries. It already does. That's the entire point of components. If you set the value of your item to $100, it takes $50 worth of components, giving you a profit of 2x. If it takes from the bank too it would be a profit of.. absolutely 0 Link to comment

No this is the percentage /startshift employees get from every sale done. Not what this suggestion is about. 1 Link to comment
Developer St3fan[NL] Posted October 27, 2024 Developer Share Posted October 27, 2024 Will be added. Default remains how it currently is. If a business is willing to take a risk with employees they can toggle this. 1 Link to comment
