Main Street Swans

- 77th Street Bloods, Original Byrd Gang

The Eastside Mad Swan Blood (MSB) presently known as the "Main Street Swans" is a long-standing and active African American street gang formed in the 1970's in Rancho, San Andreas. This gang is believed to have been a dominant factor in the formation of the Bloods alliance in Rancho back in the early 1970's. The Eastside Mad Swan Blood were founded by a man named Elvis Dexter who grew up in one of the first neighborhoods to oppose growing Crip aggression in Rancho, which was centered around Carson Avenue and considered the mecca of the Mad Swan Bloods. Their territory in Rancho is dissected by Carson Avenue to the north and Brogue Avenue in the west to approximately Roy Lowenstein Boulevard in the east.

Their cliques consist of 77th Street (the 7), Covenant Ave., 79th Street (the 9), Roy Lowenstein Blvd., and various other streets. They also have a second set further south, San Andreas. However, the Rancho Swan Bloods down South falls under the family line, referring to themselves as Neighborhood Family Swan Bloods. Compared to the Mad Swan Bloods, the majority of their members are of African American and Belizean/Mexican descent. The Rancho Mad Swan Bloods mainly, but not only feud with the Eastside Crips, some of those being the 6 Pacc East Coast Crips, Main Street Mafia Crips, and 88 Avalon Garden Crips.

The Swans made John C. Fremont High School in Rancho, the predominant school for the Bloods in Davis, Rancho, and parts of Carson. The school is attended by the Harvard Park Brims, Hoover Criminal Gang, Bloodstone Villains, and many more Blood/Piru gangs. John C. Fremont High School also lies in the heart of the Rancho Crip territory. Students who were from rival Crip gangs often fought on the school campus or at the "Davis Car Wash." Which acts as the border line between the Eastside Mad Swan Bloods and the Davis Mafia Crips. After school, the Mad Swan Bloods would meet at "Bishop's," a restaurant located at the corner of Carson Avenue and sitting on Davis Avenue. This was a popular hangout spot for the Mad Swan Blood students. However, this bishop's location has since closed.

In the early 2000s, the Eastside Mad Swan Blood (MSB) lost their hierarchy and were tossed in prison on multiple charges, costing them around $4,000,0000 in fines overall, and around 50 of their members, mainly being high-ranking, were incarcerated. This made the two sets MSB and FSB stronger due to the loss of numbers, having their name be known as the Mad Family Swan Bloods. They were still at a seemingly never-ending war with the all Rancho Crips at this time, which led them to war with their strong numbers and brains. Decades later, the Eastside Mad Swan Blood gang now stands stronger than ever, with their members ranging from 400 to 500 all across the Rancho area.

Present-day Mad Swan Bloods, specifically the 77th, 79th, 80th, and 84th Street sets, have a clique under the alias, Mainline Babies (MLB), which resides mainly but not only on 77th Street and 79th Street and is now one of the most dominant blood sets in Los Santos residing in the Rancho area. It's known that they've been in huge crowds in these areas and stand around the many hotspots in this area. Some of those hotspots are Ronnie's Luxury Car Wash, Rancho's Liquor, and Covenant low-income housing. They run the narcotics scheme that runs through Brogue and the mainline Carson Avenue. It has no leadership but is run by small cliques of around 15-20 members each; they have one goal, which is to make money by any means. Till this day, the members wear distinctive red color clothing, San Francisco Giants, San Francisco 49ers, Washington Nationals, and Mercedes-Benz accessories.

Rancho is a hotspot for gangs, which also means there are many rivalries between the majority of gangs in the area. Eastside Mad Swan Blood has always had run-ins, hence their being sworn enemies to both the Davis and Rancho Crips. Eastside Mad Swan Blood (MSB) are enemies of all Rancho Crips, in particular the 73 Gangster Crips, Mafia Crips, 88 Avalon Garden Crips, the 87 Kitchen Crips, 73 Hustler Crips, as well as all the East Coast Crips. They are also hostile towards some gangs under the Mexican Mafia/Sureños banner, such as the Varrio 38, Barrio 18th Street, Barrio Mojados, and the Playboys 13 with the exception of Florencia 13 one of their close allies. However, the Mad Swan Bloods are friendly towards most other Bloods and Piru sets except for the Pueblo Bishop Bloods, 892 Bishop Bloods, and Bebop Rancho Bloods, whom the Eastside Mad Swan Blood have had past conflicts with. Their conflict stretches for many years with their V.S.O.P. (Villains, Swans, Outlaws, Pirus) alliance against all Pueblo & Bishop Bloods.

The Mad Swans younger generation is a more ruthless and nasty group. They've been at war with the Crips, and a slew of other rivals for years, due to politics and longstanding feuds that predate many of today's youth. Their rivals aren't the only ones they face; on a daily basis, the East Los housing developments are being targeted due to gentrification. Furthermore, many long-term residents of the region have been relocated or lost their homes as a result of the city's regeneration. Los Santos' future is considered to be haunted by its history in Rancho, a neighborhood in East Los Santos. A community that has suffered from decades of social, economic, and environmental neglect is now at the focus of the city's ambitious ambitions to improve housing and transportation access throughout the increasingly expensive metropolis.

We aim to portray a realistic Los Santos Blood set, mainly showcasing the brutal lifestyle in which the gang members and those around them indulge themselves. As of now this faction will be closed to the public, our PMs are open to any questions, but we will not be accepting any new members for the time being.

We don't want people joining for the sole reason of "hey, we're here to shoot and beef other opposing street gang factions." This goes against everything we're for. All of our recruitment is done completely in character, and we mainly roleplay around Davis/Rancho, as that is the main basing point of the set. All of our members or individuals that roleplay around us are expected to strictly follow the server rules. If you fail to do so and you're not commuting to actually provide "quality" roleplay, you will be removed.

New members in this faction must be able to RP up to our standards, and we set the bar pretty high as we would like to keep roleplay as realistic as possible. No matter what the case is, keep matters IC and handle everything maturely. When boredom strikes, reach out to other members and try to create realistic roleplay.

Please ensure you're following our/GTA:W's rules at all times to keep yourself and others out of trouble.

We are currently CLOSED for recruitment, If you have any questions please feel free to contact either myself or @Cranky through PM and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
