Straight Satans M.C.

While the real life counterpart of the Straight Satans M.C. is a long defunct post-war relic of a bygone California, our faction poses the question: what happened if they kept going? For their time, the Satans were a small, but culturally significant and even notorious club in California, but had they continued, what sort of reputation might they have garnered? Well, there’s no way of knowing for sure, but we can hypothesize.

We argue that they’d go through much of the same developments as other clubs did; they’d modernize and adapt to the times. They might fade into some obscurity like other, smaller clubs did, but one thing’s for fairly certain; the aging memberbase would likely choose to turn in their rickety chopper bikes, built through blood, sweat, tears, and in many cases theft, for the more luxurious fresh-off-the-factory-floor motorcycles with all of the luxurious accoutrements… seat-mounted shocks a must for members over the tender age of 65.

But what goes up must come down; the internal culture of the Straight Satans M.C. would have no doubt been affected by these aging members. What were once young men, banded together by their love for biking and brotherhood in the 1960s and 70s (as well as several other famed Bs - bitches and booze, to name just a couple), became fractious past-it veterans, begrudgingly passing on their passions to a spry and sprightly audience, while year on year the more criminal among them gained more interest than ever.

Vespucci Beach of the 80s and 90s was raucous, taken over by the punk and skating scenes in ways that the diminutive-by-comparison biker movement could only dream of; but as many of those penniless youngsters aged out of their insubordinate, lowest-hang-of-fruit aforementioned subcultures and gained a little cash in their pocket, many would turn to the allure of the equally insubordinate and wayward motorcycle club culture. It’s now this generation of young-punks-turned-biking-elders that guides the Straight Satans Motorcycle Club in 2025 and beyond, with a whole new generation of turbulent young men seeking to join in their droves.

How do I get involved?

Faction members can sometimes be difficult to locate but they can often be found on Aguja Street in Vespucci. Feel free to approach people and strike up a conversation - at the end of the day, we aim to portray a realistic club, made up of realistic characters - so despite the reputation that 1%er clubs have garnered, you won’t end up getting chewed out for an amicable conversation. If your character’s interests lie with the motorcycle club, then his primary goal should be making friends with at least one of its members.

Don’t be afraid to ask if people are wearing their colors using a /do as you won’t yet have access to our mods to see them.

Additionally, the more you have going on independently on your character, the better. Have him work a job, have him do and sling drugs, have him have a side gig of building choppers or repairing Westerns/Harleys. Try and focus on your character first before you focus on the faction.

What should I know?

You should have a broad understanding of how the culture and the clubs operating within it function. While we provide supplementary research in this server, you should seek out further sources and do your own research.
