There's already too much monitoring, why not add a bit more which would level out the metagaming that's going on in PDSD teamspeaks

I'm down to go back to the days of 2012 and having live updates of all LEO cars on the minimap and a command that alerts the department of a pursuit. All this rampant metagame must be purged and replaced with sure fire scripted systems because all LEO players sit together in TS and all they do is metagame.

It would definitely be beneficial for them individually, as a whole system though it was basically playing cops n robbers back in the day lol. But all the same way have systems in place for them to be able to partake too.

edit: for yall on here saying "LEO supervisors already do this!" the point is that someone OUTSIDE of an LEO roleplayer should moderate it to avoid nepotism, which is yet another thing rampant on this server

there aren't enough admins in general to do this let alone non-LEO admins. plus how would this even work? the admin would sit in the TS channel? people tend to have a lot of non-GTAW discussion in these TS channels. could be a bit weird to have some random dude sitting in there eavesdropping. and ngl that sounds boring as fuck, i'm not doing that lol

 

LEO factions have supervisors, they should be (and are) the ones ensuring no metagaming is going on imo. yeah ik there are concerns about COI but it's better than admins sitting in TS channels for however long. the only other solution would be to completely disallow the usage of TS in general, which is obviously something that management and nervous would have to approve.

 

i don't LEO RP anymore but i did for a bit, and i can't imagine pursuits without TS. they would be absolutely impossible. i mean there's no way anybody is pausing mid-pursuit to type where the pursuit is headed while keeping an eye on the person they're chasing. i definitely understand general concerns about metagaming in TS channels, but LEO RPers updating during pursuits using TS shouldn't be one of them.
