I often /vp my cars when I park them exactly because I don't want someone to just ram into my car and drive off, and then me getting a fine.

+1, I'm not a fan of having my vehicle despawned and I rather keep it there for roleplay. This would be cool, I like the idea.

We had this in MTA before and it was great. Buggy but thats because GTASA had shit hitmarkers for cars. Name it as /handbrake. +1

I always opposed this idea because of the fact that anchored cars become immovable objects and act weird when they are crashed into. However, I'm starting to think if this drawback is really that bad in the grand scheme of things. Especially the fact mentioned where people should just drive more carefully brings a lot of weight. For every single time someone actually roleplays crashing into a stationary car, there are 99 times when that's ignored entirely. 

 

If not this, then lets start with it applying in interiors only.

Bump cause we need this. Even with the upcoming speed cameras. People are dicks and will push you into a no parking area just to ticket you

Would be nice. I've had cars rammed into the redline/sidewalk and get fined before.

 

Now I just /VP when I enter a club/bar/interior.  Prevents this from happening, and it helps the server load by reducing the amount of cars people have to render.

I support, for different reasons outlined here - 

I don't care if someone hits my car, but the fact my car rolls out of my driveway and leaves me liable to get a ticket is stupid.

So one PW member did that once end got banned. Just accusing others in PW doing that with no evidence is rediculious. If they did they'd get banned too.

 

-1 will get abused. Cementing MTL across the road. Too big for ramp trick, won't tow

"will get abused" is not an excuse to -1 a suggestion. there are rules and punishments in place for a reason. every vehicle is owned by a player, and if someone does something like that, you can report it, and an admin will punish them accordingly.
