A friendly reminder that people should remain on topic with this post, any unnecessary bashing of current and former factions will result in disciplinary action being taken against you.

Should've stopped making factions after LSSD.

The server isn't big or active enough for more. The SASP-LSSD beef has a lot to do with the fact that there's only so many calls in the area to go around, and when two factions are trying to be first due to handle an incident we either get over-responding which looks and feels shit, or we have a situation where one half don't get to do anything or just drive off, because the other faction has everything covered.

When you have two factions that don't have the same policies, standards, or channels of communication, sharing the same area, you're bound for a frustrating ass situation. A faction where the guys aren't on our radios, they aren't on our forums, we don't share information, and even if we tried to I don't think we could with the reality of the game and activity being what it is. This is the situation NOW. SAHP would compound this and make this WORSE.

Also I can already foresee people interpreting the real-life authority of the CHP too freely and translating it to taking over pursuits in the server or telling other departments' units to clear off of a scene.

It shouldn't be about how many calls you get or respond to, it's about roleplay. We hardly get any calls in SASP and we never complain, we just roleplay with each other or passive RP, or RP with those around the county. We use the time to develop our characters further making each interaction or piece of action genuinely special because of the development we've put into our characters. Your character isn't an action hero, they shouldn't be jumping from call to call. (Not saying anyone in particular does this, but it's a common trend from SAMP that I wish had stayed in that era.) I hate the mentality that puts LEO factions against each other. It's such an idiotic and childish mindset, I love the flying fuck out of LSSD but you've got a few bad apples that are emanating bad vibes to other factions, it just sours the whole batch.

Im not sure why it has to be a huge fully

blown thing when it could really just be a very humbly sized group

Cause that opens up people wanting other small-sized factions, such as the FBI, DOHS, ATF, etc field offices in Los Santos.

If we really needed a Highway patrol, it'd be better to merge the niche factions into a single large faction with different departments under it.

We could really use an ATF field office in San Andreas.

I actually propose we move fire investigations to LSSD and make SanFire a fire inspection civilian faction only

you don’t conduct fire inspections of a nightclub in full police gear with a taser and baton and everything else and drive a marked car

source: I do it irl
