Engelbert
Basically what the title says. Make it mandatory, to link a forum account to UCP. So people need a valid UCP account to create a forum account. Could reduce the amount of trolls and banned players trolling on the forums and of course, could make others more transparent in report section. Simply because I always wonder, when I am reading reports, that how a player who's forum account is tagged as new, is so versed in robbing people or has a gun already. I know, that it is not that hard to get one, but honestly, I always treat a new a forum account as a new player, which means if they are able to get armed, that soon... There's some OOC trade behind it. So being able to create a forum account only with active UCP, will help reduce a lot of clutter in my opinion. (This of course could be valid only for extended forum access, like IC section, factions, reports. General and Off topic can be left as it is without the need for the account to be linked.) Xatalic
Not sure why this isn't already a thing, definitely support +1 In case anyone makes the argument that "new players might be interested and might wanna look at the forums" then they can only have access to certain parts as Engelbert said above. 1 Link to comment
King of Idlewood
Don't see any point in this at all other than OP being way too nosy. You're not an admin, you don't need "transparency" on who owns what account. Edited April 24 by King of Idlewood 1 Link to comment
socrates
This has been suggested already. I cannot find it now unfortunately. might've been denied before. anyway +1. mostly for forum reports/ban evaders/trolls. Link to comment

Akio
If it can cut down on some of the burner accounts, I don't see why not. Definitely +1. Link to comment
