There is no such thing as a purely "cosmetic" vehicle mod. You are replacing a 3D model which will be of a different weight to the original vanilla vehicle, thereby affecting their handling unintentionally. Additionally, due to this replacement, the model's hitbox itself will be altered on the clientside. While these issues may be minor, the beneficial aspect still remains.

The Modding Team is always open for new serverside motorcycle suggestions, as long as they're lore friendly and meet the minimum requirements of the server.

Okay, you mention that the issues are minor, and that they are.

Could you clarify on where we'd abuse this? Bikes (the ones which are usually modded, hogs) can't outrun cops if you're not absolutely cracked at the game so your point is irrelevant.

So you guys would rather ban something that has MUCH more good sides to it than bad sides, then you mention that the modding team is open to additions, although what good does it do if our entries get denied because the server standards are too high for us to meet?

The player's hitbox on the bike, or the model, is extremely minimal to the point where it's not even noticeable or gameplay altering. The handling serves more as a disadvantage to the user as well. It's simply nit-picking and punishing for little reason. There's a greater negative than positive with a ban being imposed, it only doesn't impact administration because they don't care for the usage of bike mods.

Has any admin actually performed tests to see the difference in gameplay, handling and hitbox registration with a default GTA 5 bike and a modded bike? Were there any tests actually performed to determine the severity of your claims?

I've been using gta V bikes for years now, many hours spent riding them with and without mods and I can say that not once have I noticed a modded bike to have different stats than the default one. I don't deny that there may be mods that change stats but I have never heard of such a case. The MC roleplaying community on GTAW needs mods to create the necessary atmosphere from client vests to motorcycles. The motorcycles present on the server at the moment all look the same or are not suitable for MC roleplay. Even if the handling and hitbox is changed minorly, how many cases were there where these two things contributed to someone winning in a role-play situation? Never. We really need clientside mods to portray better our roleplay or at least we need the modding team adding some models that the MC community need.

We have a whole dedicated section on the forums for suggesting mods, but the suggestions there can date back a full year with not a single response from the modding team. Only suggestions I see getting a response from the team are stuff that 100% won't get implemented due to X or Y reason, but everything else is left into the void. Why even have a dedicated section for mods at that point lol

If you ignore mods that the community asks for and needs then the option for them to add them to their games themselves should remain and should be supported. The team is also extremely biased when it comes to implementing certain mods, but that's a whole different rabbit hole to go into.
