Why (or should) can the death penalty be handed to a character that PLAYER-KILLED Officers?

I do enjoy the RP and I actually think it's a really good ending to the story of my character, but the fact that in this case where PD died because of their own disregard to their lives, I don't see why I get CKed and they don't.

I don't have an issue with being on death penalty, I have an issue with the people at fault not being punished for their own actions, which in turn makes the RP not fair, turning it into a "not so fun" experience for us.

He's given Death Penalty because he hit the Criminal Points treshold of 25  ( and this is how it should be, else you can murder people every week and keep getting out of prison after a short prison stay which is stupid )  not because he PKed 4 cops. 

And the people wanting cops to get CKed are insane. Nobody should get CKed for doing their job. The criminal chooses to murder cops, cops have no control over whether they are murdered.

Common sense unfortunately doesn't apply these days anymore, which is why this thread was made

the death penalty when we tailored it was intended to be only for jail CKs from lifers and serial killers, i'm not quite sure why it's being used in this fashion but i'm also quite frankly not necessarily against using it against people who shoot cops over dumb reasons

This!! It lowkey feels like that whoever came up with the idea of a Death Penalty completely disregarded how the Illegal scene might feel about their characters getting force CK'd, and the cops get away with it.

Penal code says you MAY get death penalty for killing more than one person. Quincy's character killed double the minimum amount(and cops) for a death penalty while DAO was receiving heavy artillery from law enforcement agencies which led their office to make the decision(probably?). I'd understand the "CK for CK" if Quincy's char did the bare minimum to face death penalty to get it but four is going overboard in my opinion, CK or PK.

 

Another thing is, you don't get death penalty for every murder you commit. It's case by case and requires LFM's permission.

why are u bringin up the same situation, that's not what i'm talking about, nobody got killed over a traffic stop, that's not what this thread's about, people who do that get punished.

This too. My character is fleshed out as fuck, but he's still sloppy. Just because a character has a higher chance to get caught doesn't mean it's a bad or poorly fleshed out character
