Los Santos is a big city by definition and it occupies a large geographical area. But everything is spread out and even with 800+ player online you can't really find people walking around randomly or get a big city vibe. I can get small town vibes from Sandy/Paleto because they are supposed to be small and the lack of contact fits like a glove. So in my head I RP that Los Santos is just another small town, maybe bit bigger then Paleto.

 

What are your copes?

Suspension of disbelief. It's what RP hangs on. Los Santos is not a small town, it's a major metropolis.

Not really a cope but I just pretend like we're in Gotham City, the crime rate is the same, the civilians act in the same bizarre ways, only difference is no caped superheroes to help.

That's a good one. I remembered a cope I do is I pretend most of the fancy luxury cars are something more cheap that they actually are so the traffic scene can make more sense.
