On the evening of July 3rd, LSI Stringers were in the vicinity of a horror crash between two agency vehicles, leaving one overturned with a deputy trapped inside. Fortunately, the LSPD officer seemed to be unharmed in the incident, and was already calling for support over the radio. Units from the Los Santos Fire Department were swiftly dispatched upon receiving the distress call, and arrived at the scene of the collision where immediate action was taken to secure the scene and identify the seriousness of the situation. (Pictured Above: First responders on scene, tending to the wounded deputy.) Following the efforts from the Fire Department, the deputy was subsequently freed from the wreckage, allowing medical professionals to begin treatment on scene whilst he was stabilized. During this process, two further Fire Department vehicles arrived on scene, with the street quickly becoming of interest for passing civilians. (Pictured Above: Further units arriving on scene.) As customary in collisions involving officers, members of the involved agencies Traffic Division were dispatched to the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. The objective; to gather first-hand evidence by investigating road positioning, gathering statements and inspecting the vehicles themselves, as well as any other contributing factors. At this time, the reason for the collision has not been confirmed to media. After arriving on scene, units took immediate action to block the lane, ensuring the safety of units on scene, conservation of possible evidence and public safety. Throughout the Traffic Officers investigation, LSI Stringers observed the interview of the involved member of the Los Santos Police Department. (Pictured Above: Involved Officer from the LSPD.) During the investigation, the Fire Department conducted the transport of the injured deputy to a local hospital, where he would receive further treatment. At this time, his condition is unknown, although the Los Santos Insider wishes him a speedy and complete recovery from the incident. (Pictured Above: Units working to stabilize the injured deputy.) This incident serves as a stark reminder of the risks on the road, the threat not discriminating of any factor, even those especially trained.
